Ham is said to be the ancestor of the blacks. In the Bible, Noah is said to have cursed him and his descendants because he laughed at his father when he was drunk and naked, instead of helping him like his brothers did, by covering him. Some white Christians have used this as a justification for their racism, which in my opinion is a way to convince people and control their minds. You see, people's views regarding a certain religion (their own or others') is always affected by what is happening at the time. For instance, southern Christian slaveowners felt that their faith justified what they were doing because keeping and mistreating slaves was a commonly accepted practice. They interpreted their religion to suit their own needs, which still happens, but in different ways. To answer your question though, I do not believe that God cursed black people, but rather I believe in equality amongst all people. Most Christians would agree. By the way, Numbers 12 says that Aaron and Miriam, in their jealousy, spoke against Moses for his marrying a Cushite (black) woman. It then says that "the anger of the Lord was kindled against them," and Miriam became leprous.

If Noah was black, wouldn't all of his sons be black? Your question makes no sense. If they were black and God cursed the future generations of black people, then all the Jews would be cursed for the Jewish people came from Shem line.

That is nonsense! It's Mormon nonsense to boot! God did NOT curse black people, AND did NOT curse a white man by turning him black. Thats pure hog wash fed to Mormons and anybody that will listen to them.

One of Noah's sons was cursed (according to Jewish tradition) for a kind of homosexual deed or thought, upon seeing his father (Noah) naked. The curse was nothing to do with race.

Ham did not laughed at his father Noah..he uncovered his fathers nakedness:

Genesis 9:20 And Noah began to be an husbandman, and he planted a vineyard: 21 And he drank of the wine, and was drunken; and he was uncovered within his tent. 22 And Ham, the father of Canaan, saw the nakedness of his father,

Leviticus 20:11King James Version (KJV)
11 And the man that lieth with his father's wife hath uncovered his father's nakedness: both of them shall surely be put to death; their blood shall be upon them.

Ham, and his mother were perverts. Ham had sex with his own mother, and she with her own son.
