What do you think about the National ID? Do you think it is the lead in for the mark of the beast? And if so, would you accept the National ID when it becomes required?

I don't think the National ID is the Mark of the Beast yet, but it is the lead in. It will go into effect May of '08, and with technology like it is, it won't be long until they can implant the info into our hands. It's scary!!

No, I don't believe that your social security number is your mark. It clearly states in the bible that you will have the choice as to whether you recieve the mark. If you have your social security number without choice, then what...are we all going to hell because we were born and given the number. No, I don't believe our social security number is our mark.

This mark of the beast stuff is such a load of crap.
Come on, we live in a time on this planet when it is almost essential for survival. Why, all the sudden, is this such a bad thing?
Let me ask this. Do all you christians use credit cards? Because if you do your feeding the system of a one world currency. If you use plastic you are a hypocrite.
I tell you what I'll go wait in line for my ID and I will eat dinner. You can not take it and go starve. Sound like a plan? The problems in this world are the direct result of the fear generated by ALL religion. WAKE UP! If the end of the world happens it will be by your own doing.

I don't think it is the "mark of the beast". I believe that the mark of the beast, shows on every unbeliever. God's people are sealed unto the day of redemption(Ephesians) and a christian looking with spiritual eyes will see another christian, just as much as we see someone that is not. I am sure I am in the minority thinking this, but its what I believe.
As for the National ID, I agree with the other person that answered about our social security number. you can't do anything without it. That is a truly scary thought, when you look at the big picture....

It's going to happen and it is already happening all over the world. I would remind you that, were it not for IBM creating the machinery to keep track of the Jews, then Hilter could never have known and plotted the whereabouts of every Jew. Yes IBM created the machinery and came in every month to update and refresh the new information and service them. Even the ones inside of concentration camps. This does not bode good for the future of mankind. And it does smack of the sign of the beast. IS it prophesy or is it those taking advantage of the idea? Either way, it is the end of us and I disagree about the social security number thing. Thus far we can still buy and sell without using our social security numbers, but 'soon enough' we won't be able to, and 'that' will be the mark.

The Mark of the Beast is Spiritual. The national I.D. is real form.
The Mark of the Beast is spiritual. It won't be ON your forehead, it will be IN your forehead. you will be made to what? believe and worship a false Messiah. (spiritual).
The I.D. (Microchip) is just to keep track of you at all times.

Some people believe that Revelations was written to the Roman people back in time after Jesus set up His Church -
The mark of the beast....
There is a smokey bear sitting at mile marker 66 taking pictures!
What did this statement mean - 2000 years from now people will be thinking that bears took pictures back in 2006.
People will swear that bears can take pictures - because it is written down - you and I know that a smokey bear is a state trooper running radar - it is called figurative language. Revelation is full of figurative speech.

Frist you have to know who the Beast is. Second you have to know what his mark is. Third who must be willing to accept has plan for you which puts his mark in your mind then you must be willing to carry out his plan which puts the mark in your hand. There will be no visible mark anywhere.

Hon, you already have a national ID, it's called your Social Security Number. Do you know yours by rote? Might as well stamp it on your forehead huh. After all, it is the one ID used to uniquely identify you.

I THINK IT IS LEADING TO THE MARK OF THE BEAST.AND GOD SAID HE WILL TAKE CARE OF HIS OWN SO I BELIEVE IT WONT BE OFFERED UNTIL THE RAPTURE,BUT IF IT IS OFFERED BEFORE IT WILL HAVE OTHER OPTIONS AND NOT BE MADE MANDATORY JUST YET.AND NO I WOULD NOT ACCEPT IT! GOD BLESS!!
