On the one hand, gays claim that the government should stay out of their lives, when the government correctly determines that gay "marriage" is a sham.

On the other hand, they go whining and crying to the government every time they think they can squeak another drop of "acceptance" for their perverted lifestyles.

Why is that?

Is it true they work towards a New World Order? Do they disallow discussions of religion, politics,and women? Are they in league with satan? Is Freemasonry a blend of the occult, paganism, satanism, demonology & spiritualism? One thing is for sure, they aren't of God. Do you know of anything else that's informative?

My best advice for you is to pray that you can receive the Holy Ghost. When you’ve gotten a confirmation from God that you will-go on & don't stop there! When you get properly baptized, don't stop there! When you’ve been surrounded by the Holy Spirit, don't stop there! When you pray for the sick and feel their pain within your own body, don't stop there. When you’ve spent years with visions, don't stop there! When God has shown you things that you can't feel, and let you feel things you can't see - don't stop there.

It is like having a hands-on lab to go along with the textbook and "classroom theories." Truly seeing the spiritual world while still in the flesh is a wonderful thing that scholars spend all their lives to try to understand through the texts - reaching beyond any denominational beliefs. It is as real as you sitting there reading this right now. To KNOW that all things that we see were created by something "we" can not see..

Jesus is for all of us. For you people that don't feel the same way then that's your choice. But the question is why do you feel the need to anwer questions that don't pertain to you ?You make it seem that your not intrested but yet you have to put your 2cents in everytime. I don't care that you think is ofending everyone I think that your interested in some way or anouther or you'd keep your comments to yourself, and let true believer discuss it amoungst themselfs. I live in and belong to a health club in a very multi-cultural, high lower class neighborhood. I see lack of etiquette and rules broken without any apparent concern. The management is all minority and does not appear concerned. The manager is not a US citizen. Complaints of rule violation often get no response at all from management, and even when they do respond, the effect is minimal. I find myself wondering if the only way to live in polite society in this city is to make more money than I could imagine and paying to move to a "better neighborhood" Is that what it has come to in America?

My father was from North Dakota, even though I never met him i have always been proud to be part American. I was born in the UK, but i have lived all over the world, and wherever i went, the locals seemed to love Americans and America. I just wanted to shout that what is written in some newspapers of UK, Is not a fair representation of the majority. Politicians tend to pander to the noisy minorities, the ones that would kiss a terrorist, even after he has killed their babies, the ones that parade together, protesting against anyone who tries to solve world problems. We would like to ship them all to some extreemists country, let them reason with brainwashed bigots, they would all loose their heads and hands then. I think the USA should withdraw all millitary forces from every terrorist country and let the rest of the world come up with a solution. It would not be long before the free world started begging the USA to help them. God bless America and thank God for Americans. Tony.

I have made peace with my beliefs and have concluded that science and religion are compatible. Science is the search for truth. God is truth.

Why is the religious right so adamant that some scientific truths are ridiculous?

The truth that the Earth revolves around the sun, the truth of evolution, the truth of DNA, etc., are all bunk at one point in time.

Science and religion are looking for the same thing...truth...and the fact that the scientists and not the holy men are finding the truth first makes them dispute the credibility of their work.

At least one answer to every question here on Yahoo Answers that I've read so far has text messaging abbreviations, bad spelling, poor grammar, lack of punctuation, run-on sentences (like this one ;-), a combination of all of the preceding maladies, or some other characteristic that I find hard to read. Do you think it makes these answers unreadable or at least harder to read?

[Personally, I cannot wait for speech recognition software to become ubiquitous (it works well now) so that no one has to type on those tiny little 'keyboards' on phones, no typing and thus no more typographical errors, etcetera. I know this may be a bit 'Pollyanna' of me, and I do have high hopes for speech recognition and translation software.]

Okay, I turned in my two weeks notice on Wednesday, and I was too chicken to stay while my boss read it. So I went home. Now, I'm kind of nervous because I have to work tomorrow, and I'm afraid there's going to be some tension or awkwardness because of it. How has your experience been at work when you give a two week notice, do people treat you differently. I've only been working there a month and a half, so I'm not really attached to anyone, but I'm still afraid that my boss is going to be mad at me. One assistant mananger is always mean and giving me attitude... and I'm really dreading her the most.
