Haha seriously, people are just idiots now. College graduates can't find Deleware on a map, and people in general are just dumber.

They could be in a rush which isn't the best conditions to be asking a question anyways. I've also found that 4 out of 5 times you see this happen when the person is a minor. They often don't grasp the concepts of grammar and syntax. In addition, there is very little interest in grammar in schools let alone attention to students doing poorly in that area.
When I was in school we did simple lessons and moved on to the next subject not really enough time for the people who couldn't catch the concept as quickly as others.
I blame the public education system. I should know I'm a product of it. Thank god for community college lol. :-P

No. Mines are big holes in the ground from which some sort of mineral or ore is extracted.
The reasons for poor grammar, spelling, and typing are myriad, but the larger reason is that no one really cares to communicate clearly anymore. Our larger culture doesn't place enough value on proper spelling, grammar or usage, so folks get away with it. It's frustrating, and I probably shouldn't judge, but it makes the person look ignorant.
It is particularly aggravating when I have to correct my child's teachers.

Most native English speakers can't spell. Maybe they are waiting for us, English students to spell better than they do. And it seems that is not too far away from this point.
By the way... are you a native too? Let me guess! You are!! :) Isn't "can't" spelled with an apostrophe? And what about capitalizing some words in what you wrote? Yes.. it seems you are a native.

Excuse me your typing and spelling is good but i have no idea what you question is? a lot of confusion gets caused when someone doesn't translate something properly. it doesn't make them wrong or what they write any less worth reading. sometimes someone doesn't want to another person to decipher what they have wrote there still trying to decode hieroglyphics lol and you can't call the Egyptians dumb lol

I have come to the conclusion that a lot of people on this site are not native English speakers. That seems to be the most logical explanation for why they butcher the language. If the are native English speakers, they are just plain ignorant.

Maybe they are young and don't know how to type properly. Or maybe they are in a hurry to ask or answer questions and don't take the time to reread what they typed and make corrections. They should use the "Check Spelling."

Seems to me that you're:
a) A native English speaker.
b) Have used the spell check.
& inspite of all that had some mistakes in your Q?
If that's the case ... I shouldn't feel so bad myself about my spelling or grammar mistakes since:
a) English is NOT my first language.
b) There's no "Grammar Checker" in YA!
c) The spell checker douesn't seem to find all the mistakes
thanks to all of you other YA! users for accepting us with "terreble-language" mistakes

Some people just might not type good...and don't use spell check.....but I think most of them just are ignorant to correct grammar and spelling. The ones that drive me crazy are the ones that use "wuz" for "was" "da" for "the", etc...

I believe many people cannot spell. But, why can't users of this site understand that? They are trying their best. As for everyone else, I am sure it is due to typographical error. And spell checking does not catch all errors, particularly, words that are spelled two ways.
Please be understanding and forgiving for all errors and lack of education in people.
