Whit all the things going wrong in the world you would think that God would soon "Pull the plug"

The fighting, the wars, people Dying because of the heat, record temps everywhere, power grids failing all over.

Are these signs that we should be living our lives the right way?

I don't believe that it is ever to late to repent and life the right life.

I have a hard time keeping my mind fixed to the lesson when married ladies, sitting next to their husbands have no problem making plain sight of their latest underwear. This is a follow-up on my earlier question on flirting in church

I didn't live it up much during college and so after college I indulged and went wild and in the process started loosening up my sexual preferences. I did sleep with a few guys during that short period. It's not something I do anymore because I don't want to further complicate the issue. None of my friends or family knows about what I did. I'm not in a long term relationship right now, but am worried about how to handle this issue when I do find someone I want to be committed to and get serious with.

Ideally, I'd like to find a someone who I could share this with and who wouldn't judge me or use it as leverage against me, but instead understand and be accepting of it. Should I hope the issue goes away and risk exposure down the road or should I bring it up with my partners as a proactive step?

How can this huge amount of misinformation and ignorance still be occurring in our modern age of readily available information and data. I am sick of the arguments they make, and frankly cannot understand how any intelligent human cannot see the truth that is readily available to anyone. Take a trip to a natural science museum. Look at studies of the sockeye salmon changing into two species in only seventy years, or the flu virus doing the same almost yearly. Look at the fossil record showing different species walking the earth at different times, and very few lasting in their specific state, but rather changing into new, and most of the time, better adapted beings. Why does this irrational debate still live on? And even more sad is it is mainly in the US that we see this. Most other countries have accepted these truths. I don't care to debate anyone, so don't e-mail me. There is no debating truth.

I understand why it was done. What I don't understand is if Noah took all animals 2 of each kind, one of each sex then wouldn't that mean all animals are incest?

My Pastor made a wonderful illustration yesterday about tithing. Simply, put God is not requiring a lot from us, but 10% of our earnings. I was a faithful tither, but financial situations had be stopping for a couple of months. After yesterdays sermon and illustration, I can't see how I ever stopped seeing that God will and has blessed me abundantly. Who else has a testimony on tithing?

“This particular conflict, and Israel's act of aggression on Lebanon, did not take place in a vacuum, and Israel did not act in some spontaneous fashion. Hezbollah did not surprise Israel with the capture of the two Israeli occupation soldiers. Hezbollah leader Hasan Nasrallah has repeatedly warned that if Israel does not release its Lebanese prisoners, he will be compelled to take Israeli soldiers as bargaining chips. And Israel has not been sitting idly by since its partial withdrawal from South Lebanon in 2000. It has not only continued to occupy parts of South Lebanon, but also has been violating Lebanese sovereignty, by air, sea, and land. Israel has also been kidnapping innocent Lebanese citizens: fishermen and shepherds. And one fisherman from Tyre - my hometown - is still missing, and at least one shepherd was killed last year."

What contradictions in the Bible are so great that you can not believe it is real. Taking things out of context and not understanding why they were written is not profe, it's ignorance. I'm not saying compare the Bible to science or anything like that (a.k.a evolution to creationism), just contradictions in the Bible itself. So enlighten me please.

Did he have to sacrifice himself? Could he have chosen not to? Could he have chosen a different path? Or was his path laid out before him and he had no choice but to fulfill it? To be human means being able to freely choose. If he had no choice then was he not human? To say that he was God in human form would not clear this up because that would mean that God has no free will. How can one fulfill a prophesy freely? Isn't the definition of prophesy that it is going to happen regardless?

Mine was when I was 12. I had an image flash in my head I saw a white car and a white truck. I even saw what Model the truck was it was a Ford F-150. The Ccar and truck were in a wreck. I pushed it a side as my imagination because we didn't have a vehicle like either one of them. Then my mom said we were going out to eat with my mom's friend. We were going in her car.It was white and looked just like the one I saw in my head ,but I didn't say anything. When we were leaving the resteruant a white Ford F-150 rammed in to the side of the car.

Omphalos: An Attempt to Untie the Geological Knot by Philip Henry Gosse (1857) or the Prochronic Theory of Creation or Creation with the Appearance of Pre-existence.
If god/God created the earth 6,000 years ago according to calculations from the bible, s/he/it created the earth and all things with the appearance of pre-existence, with illusory strata, illusory fossils, illusory ages of living things, etc. Adam & Eve were created AS IF they were 18 years old (age of consent) instead of 0 day old. So all other things –living and nonliving – were created AS IF they were 4.5 billion years old or less depending on the time at which they were supposed to have appeared in earth’s illusory geological history. The products of creation must bear traces of previous stages, even if those stages had no existence in real time. They were created with an illusory history.

Let me explain: I told my children that it takes years and tons of pressure to turn a black lump of coal into a diamond and then it must painstakingly be cut and polished. I believe that our souls are like this. God uses or allows, I am not saying sends, our trials and struggles in this life to form the diamond and to cut and polish it. What do you think of this idea?

so, you cant use any type of birth control, right, no condoms, no pills.... nothing. is the because it would stop a life from being created?
and if thats why you cant use birth control, then would it be wrong for a male to masturbate? cause then millions of sperm that COULD have formed a life would have... but you killed them
