I am not sure where to start since you do not say where your confusion lies.
KJV and the New KJV are commission translations of the "original" canonized texts submitted to King James for approval for use in the Church of England.
I put " " around original because none of the documents that are used are actually the original writing except some of the Epistles. Most are the oldest know existing copies. most date hundreds to thousands of years after the original writ ting.
KJV was written in the language of the aristocracy in the 1600 the fist published copy dating to 1611.
There is an authorized version that has modernized the language for today that makes it a little more readable.

its poetic and the best version cause it doesnt higher criticize
it is made by different ministers assigned to each book so none put their group slant on it
God had it in 1600's translated from the original by king James
