God will make it grow in Jesus name, have fiath in God and believe He can do it. Mathew 21:22 says 'And whatever things you ask in prayer believing you will receive'.

God answers every prayer in HIS time. You may ask God to heal you, but it does require faith on your part to receive that healing. Faith is the key here, for it takes faith for the healing o manifest itself. Prayers are answered immediately---all prayers. Remember that God's time is not the same as our time---a thousand years is as a day and a day is as a thousand years with God. Not all prayers are answered in this life---some you will have to wait for when you get to heaven. Concerning your hair, though, I am confident that God will answer your prayer soon after you make the request. Be simple and honest in your prayer request and give God all the glory when he answers your prayer. God bless you and I hope and pray that your head becomes full of the most gorgeous hair any woman has had the pleasure to brush. Jesus loves you.

God answers prayers. Often His answers aren't the answer we want or at the time we want. Sometimes He tells us we have to be the answer (Bruce Almighty- "You be the miracle!")

I've wanted to be a parent since I was... how old are you when you are told that kittens grow up to be cats, puppies grow up to be dogs, little boys grow up to be daddies and little girls grow up to be mommies?

Anyway, some time during my senior year, I found (through a couple medical tests) that I can't have children. I will NEVER be pregnant (short of a bona fide miracle). Many have prayed for me, for the opportunity to come my way to be a mother- family, friends, but mostly my husband and I.

We know that in our case, we will have to be the miracle. We will have to be the ones that earn the money, pay the fees, fill out the paperwork, sit patiently by the phone, etc, till some woman or girl decides that she wants us to be the mommy and daddy that raise her baby..... and then pray that she doesn't change her mind!

I've prayed for understanding, and even though it's hard to accept, God has let me know that He has something better in store for me because of this.

He doesn't answer every prayer in the way we would want. Sometimes he says no, or not yet. Sometimes what we want isn't in our best intrest at the time, sometimes there is something else we must learn before our prayer can be answered.

Take me for example. I prayed for years that I would have children. I thought that since I was doing what I should be doing that I should just be given children. Well, after 7 years, 2 miscarriages and 1 still birth later, I was mad at God. I told him that he had not answered my prayers and there was no reason to pray anymore. I quit going to church, I quit living my religion, my hubby and I started having problems and eventually seperated. After 6 months of seperation, I found out I was pregnant. I went back to my hubby, started going back to church and good things started happening for me.

My baby was born early, small and not breathing on her own. She was sent to a hospital in another town that had a NICU and was there for a month. When she came home, she was a healthy little girl. Then 6 months later, I found out I was pregnant again. Had another little girl who is now 9 months old.

I guess my answer is that sometimes what we pray for isn't in our best intrest, sometimes it isn't what we need at the time. For me, I had to learn that a child wasn't just something to take for granted. I love my children all the much more for what I went through, and I thank God every day for the opportunity I have to raise them. They are my saving grace. They are one of the reasons I get up everyday. I love the Lord all the much more for this experience. It has taught me patience, humility and long suffering. It has also shown me the power of the priesthood, what it can do for me, and that God listens, even if there are times when He is silent.

God have plan for each and everyone of us. Just ask yourself this question, if God answered your prayer and requested you to give up something, will you do it?

God sometime do not answers to some prayer because He have better plan for you. Just ask God to reveal His plan for you rather than asking Him to grow back your hair.

God Bless....

Prayers and right treatement should do the job. Know what causes ure hair not to grow. The right way to do that would be to visit a specialist and try to sample a piece of ure scalp to know the real cause of this problem... GL

whether absolutely every prayer is answered, i don't claim to know. but i bet a vast majority are. i would definitely go for it and then expect absolutely that it will be fulfilled. and, i don't think god would mind if you "hedged your bets" by asking others for some help, too. i.e. other "powerful beings" of your choice. best of luck! p.s. i don't think your question is shallow, at all. i bet most people would be similarly concerned.

In his wisdom, God doesn't answer every prayer. If he did someone might pray for you to go bald, or to die or something.
