Neither one, it is her choice to do this. You should punish the people who go looking for her, if they were not around she would find something else to do.

The word harlot now refers to a prostitute, particularly a woman. In the past, however, it used to refer to a man. The word is first recorded in English in a work written around the beginning of the 13th century, meaning "a man of no fixed occupation, vagabond, beggar," and soon afterwards used to mean "male lecher." In the 14th century it began to be used to refer to women. How this meaning developed from the male sense is not clear. For a time the word could also refer to a juggler or jester of either sex, but by the close of the 17th century the word became exclusive to women.
I thought that was pretty interesting. Just another label that men have put upon women.
Seems to me that if a man is sleeping with alot of women (even if it is for money) he gets a pat on the back and isn't chastised the way that a woman is.

depends: is it illegal, immoral, unethical?
personally, I believe nobody should be pitied, especially when they CHOOSE their lifestyle. I have yet to meet some one who actually liked/enjoyed and /or wanted to be pitied. also, I believe that God will punish her for her lifestyle, BUT if she becomes His child He WILL accept her willingly, lovingly, and with MUCH rejoicing. God condemns a harlot's actions but not the harlot. I also believe that while a person should hate sin, NEVER NEVER NEVER should anyone ever hate any person(s).

Oh, and the word "harlot" did not originate in the 13th century. It actually originated in the Bible which dates from the BC era- between 3,000 and 5,000 B.C. (don't ask me for the specific date I don't remember off-hand). Also, it was and is strictly a female name.

Neither. She's not a poor helpless victim, and she's not an evil sinning villain. She's just another human being like you, and so deserves respect and compassion. If you don't like her job, ask yourself why it's profitable in the first place.
