this one is easy.

you can't do it because you don't believe in it. and good for you!

instead of a silly religion, try a way of being, look into humanism.

You're trying too hard. Instead of struggling over a passage of Scripture, go out and DO. Volunteer in a soup kitchen, help construct a home with Habitat for Humanity, donate blood, be a mentor to a child, visit the sick. Better to have good deeds than wisdom.

Even the great Apostle Paul had that problem he wrote in Romans 7:14,15
For we know that the law is spiritual; but I am of the flesh, sold into slavery under sin. I do not understand my own actions. For I do not do what I want, but I do the very thing I hate.
and in vs.24,25
24 Wretched man that I am! Who will rescue me from this body of death? 25 Thanks be to God through Jesus Christ our Lord!
So then, with my mind I am a slave to the law of God, but with my flesh I am a slave to the law of sin.

The standards in the Bible are unachievable because they are God's standards and he is perfect and holy. If they were achievable by men then man would not need a redeemer. But thanks be to God that He sent Jesus the Christ to rescue us from our sin.
This does not mean however that we should go on sinning because we cannot completely and perfectly obey, would should honestly do our best and rely on God and His endless mercy to make up for our shortcomings
Continue to pray and read His word I have found that the closer I am to him through prayer and reading the scriptures the more strengh I have to do His will, and resist temptation

The BIBLE-for spelling purposes is a book for us to live by. You say you can't pray....praying is your cellphone to God. Just like you talking to your friends or family. Tell him about your day, your wants or needs & so on. Living by God's Word isn't easy for anyone. It is a daily choice you make-just like anything you do daily.
The more you get into the Bible, the more you will learn & understand. Understanding how to live with God & go w/God depends on your faith. Have you accept Jesus Christ into your heart & are repentant for your sins? This is the 1st step. Getting into church, having a Reverend, Pastor or Minister who will be very helpful in answering questions & giving you the proper guidance in this matter is best.

many people have this problem. i do too, but what i found to be most effective is to just keep thinking of the things you should do, like not lie, and not to do other bad things and then think of the positive things u should do, like say grace before u eat and when a friend is in need help and stuff like that. just keep in mind how you should live and act and if you keep thinking about it and trying to improve and keep praying then soon enough you will notice an improvement. i do this to help me and i hope it works for you but remember no one is perfect and you just have to keep trying.

You were born into sin, we are all sinners. once u get saved( meaning u believe christ died for your sins) your are cleansed by his scacrifice, the sheding of his blood. in the old days( old testament) they would give offerings for their wrong doings, the shed the blood of the lamb. that is why Jesus is considered the holy lamb. We as ppl are not worthy enough to talk to god alone. Jesus talks to him for us. and anytime u are sorry for the things u have done address Jesus, and through him god will forgive u. God feels if he scacrificed his son in death for your sins, and don't accept him then he can not accept u. so this will help u alot. it says the race is not won to the swift but to the one who endures to the end. Meaning if u fall get back up, and keep striving to get to the end ( Perfection) Which can only be done through or with the help of Jesus Christ. and if there is something u really like doing and u know it's wrong. ask god to make a way of escape for u, and pray for him to change your heart, and make it change to where it will desire to do right.

I commend you for reading the Bible and trying to live by it. That's so good because so many people will tell you that it doesn't matter! Just keep reading it and trying to understand it. Pray for God to show you the truth found in His word, the Bible. If you are really sincere, He will help you, you'll see!

you are human... reading and doing are two different things... acceptance is another story.... pray for guidence and do the best you can.. It may be that you need to change something in your life... eliminate temptations... if the friends are ungodly ... start seeing them less and find new friends... if you really believe and really want it .. then it will work as long as you try to make it work... just remember you are not perfect and God knows this because he made us that way... just dont give up

Before reading the bible pray that God will bring you more wisdom and to help you understand the bible more and ask the holy spirit to come into your life. Things will get easier. One thing you need to know is though your life changes immediately once you ask god into your life and know that he has died on the cross for your sins, Learning and living the life usually takes time, its a ongoing process as we were born into sin. Don't despair!

The problem is that you are accepting a work of fiction as fact. The bible contains dozens of internal contradictions (as well as hundreds of errors of fact), so trying to live strictly by it is obviously impossible: when faced with a contradiction, which alternative do you choose? The one thing in the bible that is undoubtedly good advice is the Golden Rule; go by that, and most of your problems are solved.

You can't rush it either. God knows your heart and He knows if you are sincere in your desire to learn His word. Keep praying and allow God to open up His word to you according to His time. Take it slow and read the same scripture over and over again, until you understand what it is saying. Attend church and Sunday school. Join a bible study class. You can't do this on your own.
