They are so super-huge,the Christian religion is so corporate now, do they really qualify as religions or are they something else entirely with their global approach and far reaching political ambitions.

Seriously, my 4th of July was ruined by a Mormon who said that he didn't "believe" in fireworks and therefore he didn't want anyone to light them at the cookout. I did anyways and he flipped out saying he would call the police on me. I wonder if it's his own personal belief or that since it's illegal in the state I live in he'll being doing something against his religion. I am still really confused about this.

Home Improvement is on right now and it got me to thinking, there's twin girls on the show, they're playing Tim Taylor's brother's daughters, and they can't act to save their lives, then there's a better example on 7th Heaven, the twin boys Sam and David were so terrible at acting I had to change the channel. Those twins on the hotel show on the disney thing, they were in Friends when they were younger and they weren't acting to great either, neither do Mary Kate and Ashley, is something gone wrong in the "acting" part of brain during the "accident" of twins?

For instance, take omniscience and omnipotence. If the omniscient God knows the future with absolute certainty, how can he be omnipotent? For knowing the future, he can no longer change it. If God cannot change the future, then he cannot be omnipotent. But if God can change the future, how can he be omniscient? Does God have free will? For knowing what he will do in the future with certainty, he can no longer be said to have free will. He does not make any decisions for all his future actions are already known to him.
Some ppl will try to say that we can't understand GOD and his work but at the same time theya re using words that we use to describe what we do understand. May be we should invent some new words and just say hey. This are the attributes of GOD and don't explain what they mean?
But anyway i would like to udnerstand how its possible to be omniscience and omnipotence at the same time.

ok the point about paddy is a difficult one insomuch as it is a shortened form of my name and the potential offence lies in its other use as a generic term for irishmen.but where do people get off mimicking an irish accent in front of me;i get total strangers insulting me to my face;and because the irish and english races have shared so much history people do it unthinkingly in an affectionate way all the time.as a well bred person i would never use any personal info until someone mentions it themselves and then only wiht great caution and i would be afraid on a practical level of getting a crack on the jaw;is the irish nation some sort of a special category ;i.e.they are everyone's mate and the favoured butt of every joke.pls let me in on the rules

How do people who do not believe in a creator God perceive suffering? Why do horrible things happen? Is there a purpose, a meaning, final justice against those who hurt others? She says that she has a really good friend who was Catholic and would still be Catholic except that she prefers to pray to God directly and not to Mary and the Catholic Saints. She said that Catholics aren't really Christians because they don't pray to God and don't believe that Jesus Christ is their Savior. I have friends who are Catholic and they seem to be very Christian and I know that they believe in Jesus Christ. I'm a little offended by her statements, because people of my faith are routinely bad mouthed by people who don't have all the facts. The next time she mentions it I want to tell her she's wrong, but I thought I'd better make sure I'm right before I do. So, what gives Catholics? Do you believe in Christ as your Savior? Do you pray to God?

I know many non-Catholics will respond to this, but I will only consider your answer for best answer if you let me know you are a Catholic.

A lot of people are complaining about the current situation with immigrants in the UK and often use the term non-English. What is that exactly, does it mean non-white English people or those who are not British Citizens?
A lot of people voted for the BNP whose first priority is to serve the indigenous (white British people). But I ask what about those people from places such as India and the West Indies who were invited over here after WW2 (by the government) to help rebuild the country. Are they not entitled to anything? My grandparents and parents came over here (from the West Indies) and worked their butts off and never received any support or benefits from the government (money wise) but they paid their taxes just the same and they are British Citizens. However, I do have a problem with those who come over here to just sponge off the system and those who are unwilling to integrate and learn English. I do not have a problem with those who come here to work.

Is it true that by me being an adult, if I joke around with my nieces & nephews, then that means that I put myself in the position for them to not respect me? If so, how? Other adults joke around with children, but those are the same adults who tell me stuff like this. I ask other adults why don't the kids disrespect them? Their answer is because the kids know not to disrespect them. Well, how do they know to disrespect me?

It is true that good works alone do not save your soul. But many folks sit in their suburban air conditioned churches condemning others from a distance. Folks that they would never have dinner with or hang out with. Remember that Christ actively preached to those folks in person. He spent time with them. Prostitutes, degenerates, drifters, deadbeats, homeless, etc. Remember that being a Christian is much harder than it appears to be. You must sincerely befriend those from all walks of life. And you must share the words of Jesus with them. Indiscriminately. Even if it means giving up all of your belongings to do so.
