Lyndee, I would try to save pictures. My mother and my nephew have both passed away and I would hate to lose their pictures. Plus I have alot of very old pics of grandparents and great grandparents. If those got destroyed they would be irreplacable. I guess I should think about one of those fire safes.

That's a really fun questiobn. Thanks for asking!
I have 2 dogs that are my babies, so they would have to get out. I have a box with 30 years my writing in it, and a 175-year-old Japanese baby boy doll that I bought 20 years ago on Guam.
Then I would go back in for my 20 photo albums and my Elna sewing machines.

If my house was on fire (besides all the people), I think I would save the photo album, which has 500 pictures in it, but besides that, I would save "the blue bag". The blue bag contains social securities, insurance policies, keys, credit cards, and such.

I would save pictures because it brings happy memories and enjoyful areas of life. The items in "the blue bag" that my family keeps assures security.

Thats a good question. :-)

I think I would try to save my collection of frozen ice creme sticks. Actually, all my valuables are secreted in a fire resistant safe. I just wanted to answer a question form a "Georgia Girl." I wish I could save all these cute answers we find on this progam, we could write a book.

Good Luck with your career, you're gonna need it.

Kids and pets first. Followed by family photos or heirlooms. I'd also try to save the gargantuan suitcase full of $100 bills I keep under my bed, but thats just me.

A shoe field. In that is this methodology from the church of my grandma's funeral, a rose that I took off her casket and a image of her at the same time with her well known bible verse and poem on the lower back. also there is a few seashells we accrued on the sea coast even as i replaced right into a baby **RIP grandma 3/23/05**

I have a jewelry box of old momentos from ex- and current boyfriend(s). It has things like rose petals, notes, cartoons, and just little things that always make me smile. It always seems to help me feel better when I'm feeling bad. I would probably try to save that.

My dog..and my family Bible, it has lots of family information that I could never get back. Things about my heritage and family tree. If I had time I would try to get pictures also.

if my family was fine, i'd say let the rest burn. Maybe my ipod or computer, but they are covered too. Nothing in here worth the risk. pics would be nice, but if your family is safe, you don't need them as much, you can see them before you.
