Reiki is a Japanese technique for stress reduction and relaxation that also promotes healing. It is administered by "laying on hands" and is based on the idea that an unseen "life force energy" flows through us. If one's "life force energy" is low, then we are more likely to get sick or feel stress.

The word Reiki is made of two Japanese words - Rei which means "God's Wisdom or the Higher Power" and Ki which is "life force energy". So Reiki is actually "spiritually guided life force energy."

Reiki treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit creating many beneficial effects that include relaxation and feelings of peace, security and wellbeing.

i just have one more question. if god created a perfect world i think its stupid that he created evil. if gods brother was the devil then who was gods father? why have i never seen this question asked and also, if god made the world why did he just make a garden pretty? why wasnt the whole world like that? you get a conception that adam and eve were kicked into a desolate place. if god really made the world you would think it would be nice. and why did god let the snake into his garden if they were sworn enemies against each other in the first place. sure he would have know we could have had a perfect world if that enemy of his the snake was not allowed in the garden to tempt evil. i dont know but theres a lot of things that dont add up and sorry to debate against some peoples answers

I'm just curious because it sounds like no one in this section does. If anyone does what are some good ways to wage war for your own soul on this earth that became a battlegound for the souls of men. Is anyone else aware of how real the spirit works and how real it is in christianity? Does anyone wear their spiritual army mentioned in the new testament.

I made a comment around the dinner table yesterday to some of my work colleagues and their spouses that created an awkward silence. I'm not American, and so after speaking to one of my friends, what i said was obviously misinterpreted.

After someone made a comment saying that the US would reinstitute the draft, i remarked jokingly "that would solve the mexican problem"

What i meant was that immigration would stop to a country with a draft, and i realized that the way it was recieved was that all the mexicans are going to die.

When i go into work on monday, should i explain my mistake to my colleagues, or should i forget about it? It obviously wasnt malicious, nor am I racist, i just dont want it to be awkward.

why is it if you dont go to a house of worship your automatically a sinner or you dont believe in god.i feel as long as you lead a good life and you take time to talk to the man himself that's more important then living your life around the belief that you must go to church on sun.morn.or wed. whatever day you go?

Hi folks, I've always asked myself why just African Americans and
Americans rather than African Americans and European Americans. the fact is that white hails from Europe and blacks from Africa. so why not to refer to both this way? otherwise, they are both Americans.

Missing limb(s), limited use of arms or legs? Do you consider it strange when someone with full movement has a disabled person as their significant other?

To make this clear:

*I have nothing against the handicapped and disabled.

*I have a friend who has a disability.

*I date a someone with disabilities.
