Missing limb(s), limited use of arms or legs? Do you consider it strange when someone with full movement has a disabled person as their significant other?

To make this clear:

*I have nothing against the handicapped and disabled.

*I have a friend who has a disability.

*I date a someone with disabilities.

I appreciate all comments. :)

i would date someone with a physical or mental disability. They are the same as everyone else. It is not what's on the outside, but what's on the inside that count. If it wasn't for people dating other people with disabilities- i wouldn't be here. My mother has had polio every since she was 16 months old. It hasn't stopped her from doing anything that a "normal" person would do.

If you care about a person their looks, and disabilities should not be an issue. Yes, people will stare. It's human nature. You shouldn't care what other people think.

If he was a nice enough guy, I'd consider it. So he's missing an arm, big deal, it's not like he's missing half his brain.

I have no problem with handicapped people either. I just wouldn't want to date one.

YES I WOULD BECAUSE TO ME IT IS WHAT IS IN THE HEART THAT MATTERS. AS LONG AS THEY HAVE A GOOD HEART AND TREAT ME WITH LOVE AND RESPECT, I WOULD DATE THEM.
