Pardon my ignorance but I wish to know the difference between Catholics and Christians. I was baptised Catholic (although I do not follow religion), and I'm curious.

I was sitting on the bus with my boyfriend and we where talking about marriage and weddings. I was telling him that I would get married a few years after college and graduate school and I would only have children in my marriage. And this girl who was sitting beside me said," That's stupid, why would you get married and then have kids? Why don't you just get pregant and tell the governmnet that you don't know where the father of you're baby is and get on welfare? Why would you get married? Hey y'all. I am known as the good girl that doesn't smoke, drink or go wild at parties. I am in college and it seems like that's all guys like to do and also girls. And it also seems like guys are into the girls that do party, get smashed and aren't really goal-oriented. I feel like I'm the only 18 year old that doesn't enjoy getting wasted. I only get approached by older men or guys that say they want to stalk me. My guy friends tell me I am beautiful, which I don't believe, but they tend to go after the girls that are heavy partiers. Am I wrong or do guys prefer party girls?
I just feel like I can have a good time hangin out with my friends without drinking..am I the only one?!
I have friends that do drink and that is fine with me, and I totally respect them for that. To everyone his own. It's just some people don't respect my own personal choice to not drink.

Based on this website it sounds like almost all atheists are just anti-christians. Like a religion called anti-christianity. they just talk about how bad christianity is and not the other religions. That's great if you're an atheist but be respectful and stop trying to push your atheist religion on people.

I have served for a christian community of college students for 1 year, and i'm asked to continue my serving. The problem is my study is getting harder with too many tasks and i still have mother and younger brother to give care. i do still serve in my college thought it's not as hard as in the community.
Do i just think about my ego?
I try to find God's answer but i still have headache to think about this.
For information, if i won't serve in the community, i still can help in smaller scale, but i won't have responsibilities for the tasks.

I meditate, and do right by everyone. I don't believe in a "messiah" such as jesus, i dont see god as being someone who judges people. I like the idea of buddhism, but I dont believe in the reincarnation part. ok--religiously and morally, when can a person cross the line and know that divorce is the only way to go. I know the bible says that cheating is the way, but are their other reasons --where I would not be guilty all of my life and think I am going to Hell too?? I am not planning this or anything--but I see things in a different way now and other people see the things that he is doing to me--they look at it differently than I do. They believe he is lying to me a lot and using me for money. Plus he is and has been on the Methodone drug treatment program and sells and uses it b/c that is prescribed, but he smokes week constantly and I found pills and a straw--he said that incidence was just a relapse and he has only supposedly done that about 6 times since he got into treatment. He had no job and I paid for everything and I think he uses my money to front things and I don't know if I am wrong or just looking for a way out. We were friends for years and he was the love of my life!!

OK, so it's something that I've been noticing more and more recently. And it irks me. Have you ever walked up to the counter to pay for items at a store and the associate barely acknowleges you and just starts scanning your stuff? It's so rude! Even if it's an insincere "how are you" or just a simple "hello" I would be happy. Is that REALLY too much to ask for? It's the easiest part of your job for goodness sake! Arggghhh...
