It must be remembered, however, that circumstances were different in earlier times.Adam and Eve were created perfect, and the instruction for them "to multiply and fill the earth"would necessarily require that their offspring marry one another and reproduce (Gen.1:28).
But as perfect humans, their children would have been perfect as were their parents.
Even though Adam and Eve sinned and became imperfect,Cain and his brothers and sisters were still so near to perfect physical perfection that the children they produced did not suffer the same adverse effects as do children born of such unions today.Even some 2000 years later,God's faithful servant Abraham married his half sister Sarah, and God did not disapprove (Gen.20:12).It was yet another 450 years or so that God saw fit to provide his nation of Israel a body of laws that forbade incest on penalty of death.(Lev.18:8-17).By that time imperfection had apparently developed to such an extent that no longer was is safe for close relatives to marry.

That was not incest. Why? Because the blood lines were clean and Adam and Eve had more then 2 or 3 kids, that had several generations of children. One must remember that Adam lived to be 930 years old and fathered many many children. One must also remember that Adam and Eve were the only people on earth at that time and thru Adam and Eve the whole world was populated

If man and woman are created perfect, then there is also genetic perfection. The only problem with incest from an entirely biological viewpoint is genetic imperfection. Any recessive genetic imperfection is magnified greatly by incest. Adam and Eve, and a number of subsequent generations were perfect or near perfect genetically, and thus their offspring would have been fine.
It wasn't for perhaps thousands of years, not until the time of Moses that incest was forbidden.

It seems that God did allow incest in the early days. When Cain was cast out into the wilderness, he met a woman that became his wife. Other books not included in the Bible say that this was Cain's sister not mentioned in the book of Genesis. When Noah took his sons and daughters with him on the Ark they were the only people left after the flood. The sons would have had to have relations with their sisters in order for the world population to start again.

Well Technically Adam and Eve werent related. Cuz they weren't born they were made. But after that they did have to marry within the family. But if u think about it then, everyone u ever marry would be considered incest cuz we're all "techinically" related because we all originally came from Adam and Eve. But back then it didnt matter and god allows it to happen cuz there was no other way and it didnt matter then. It was his plan and that's the way it had to be. There werent many people to choose from then. Now, if you married ur relative its wrong because there's so many other people to choose from. And i dont even think that god would consider it incest. Cuz to him your all his children. It's only society that made it wrong.

No, Adam & Eve didn't give birth to all mankind. God created the races of people before he created Adam and Eve. Go back to the creation story in Genesis. He created mankind on the 6th day, and told them to have dominion over the whole earth and to replenish it. And they all had different purposes. Then God rested on the 7th day. After resting, he created Adam, then Eve on the 8th day. Go back and read it carefully. It's in simple chronological order. Jesus eventually was born through the lineage, and generations of Adam and Eve. That's why they were special. And anyway, we'd ALL be the SAME race if we all came from the same couple.

Adam and Eve lived in the Garden of Eden. There everything was perfect there was no sickness or pain it was kind of like heaven. Therefore incest pain and sin wasn't established until after they disobeyed for the first time and got kicked out.

Yes, we would call it incest today. God told them to go forth and mulitply and fill the earth. The reason we don't do that today is that the human race has been too corrupted. We are no longer pure enough because of disease and sin. God gave permission back then. His reasons back then do not apply today. Not to mention people are trying to find faults with God, but God has his reasons for everything. If God allows it, it isn't sin.

<"STOP" YOU ARE ALL WRONG AND MISS-INFORMED>
Read Genesis again. It's all there if you pay attention to detail and look closely. He made the races on the 6th day, and told them to go forth and multiply. He rested on the 7th, right? He made Adam after he rested or on the 8th day. Later he made eve. It says their son Cain went forth into the land of "Nod" and brought forth a wife. So where do you think SHE and HER people, came from, if this were not so????
READ IT FOR YOURSELF AND SEE!
P.S....you people don't read or retain...the guy talking about Noah and his sons and daughters needs to read that again. Noah was an old man by that time and had grown married sons and their wives, daughters and their husbands and all their offspring.
Don't believe ME....read it for yourself and see!

The story of Adam and Eve is not true! It's a story to explain how humans got on the Earth. Don't take it literally.
