Based on this website it sounds like almost all atheists are just anti-christians. Like a religion called anti-christianity. they just talk about how bad christianity is and not the other religions. That's great if you're an atheist but be respectful and stop trying to push your atheist religion on people.

Hi, I'm an atheist, and I don't spend near as much time talking against other religions (and I don't limit myself only to Christianity, but also to Judaism, Islam, Wicca, and those crazy cultists) as fundamentalists spend talking against religions other than their own. I don't go door to door attempting to talk anyone out of their personal beliefs. I don't apply labels to other religious groups (such as the epithets attached to atheists).

For the most part, when I object to Christians, it is usually science against religious dogma. I don't feel that everyone should believe what I do, but I do think that people need to think for themselves. Rather than "pushing" my beliefs on others, I would rather they find their own ways, and be sheep to neither me nor anyone else.

Finally, you show a lack of respect for atheists in your assertion that we have some kind of "atheist religion."

Not everyone who professes to be an atheist is anti-Christian, or even anti-religious. Most respect the beliefs of others and do not denigrate churches or belittle those who go to church. They are, rather, either persons who do not believe in the existence of God, believe God is a myth manufactured by man, or, in some cases, have been disappointed or let down in their faith at some time and have adopted non-belief as a substitute for belief. There are some who are just unsure of there being a God as a basis for faith; these are agnostics.

But yes, there are a small minority, I think, of non-believers who are anti-Christian. They will do everything they can to thwart Christianity. They seek to destroy every thing that is Christian in society, every symbol, every public practice, etc. They hide behind laws and Supreme Court edicts to make their efforts seem righteous, but their aim is to destroy, tear down and eradicate Christian practice. Although a minority, these profound atheists are, because of the weight of the law and public apathy, seemingly winning in getting their way.

I'm a Christian, I believe atheists are anti-God. yeah theres alot of atheists hating on Christians b/c its all over the media. as a Christian i expect persecution from non-believers. im not religious im not in a religion a christian is not a religion which is what seperates it from religions like muslim, buddhism etc. it is by faith that im saved. faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. there is no love, in religions. my faith is a relationship with Jesus. i think about the little things which u gotta know God's real, think of this: who came up with laws, who said we should have laws, why do we need police, military, why do we have to use money, who created words, languages, how can an accident create this order. and who says what is good and what is evil? who said stealing is wrong, who said giving to the poor is good? why is there not chaos everywhere, why rnt we doing our own thing or whatever we want to do?

back, to boost the bubble somewhat: some are, it is all. There are solid motives to be anti-Christian. Christianity has a terrible historic record, and the quantity of crime and abuse at the moment dedicated by clergy and different "pious Christians" is yet another party. In all, Christianity is purely awful. There are solid those who're Christian. i'm no longer against them, i'm purely sorry that they are so unaware of the darkish area of it. i'm no longer. I walked away, and am far extra ideal for it. as far as Jesus is going, i will prepare a similar distinctive feature that you'll. i will prepare what he preached. i do not might want to be aggravating about heaven and hell, yet you do. imagine about that. Is that the phobia your God needed you to adventure in the course of area of your existence? i do not evaluate myself an atheist, yet i'm no longer a Western monotheistic theist. I evaluate myself free from those constraints. Have a staggering day.

It only seems this way because the majority of users here are Christians and the majority of the atheists live in the US, which is experiencing a surge in Christian fundamentalism.

Don't misunderstand, we think that Islam, Hinduism, and Wicca are just as ridiculous as Christianity. However, there are not as many Muslims, Hindus, or Wiccans posting here or making faith-based political decisions that affect us.

A fair amount of atheists I know aren't anti christian ,per se.HOWEVER, I can't say I blame them if they are.Be respectful and not push their religion on anyone?I'd love to see Christians follow that bit of advice! Why?Cuz it doesn't happen!I can't even tell you how many times I go to catch a train and there's some whacko preaching about repenting because the end is near and I'll go to hell if I don't!Or how many times I've had some dimwit pound on my door at 9 am to tell me about some dude who got hung up on a tree 2000 years ago after I'd been at work all night! So we're supposed to be respectful to those nuts, while they can go on disrespecting us?! So how about a little respect of us non christians?! This works both ways, pal!

Both sides bash each other. Most of the atheists are not Anti-Christians. They just want to be left alone. Lot of Christians need to be respectful of others too and quit trying to shove their beliefs down others throats. Just because you believe in Jesus doesn't mean the whole world has to .

Yep.

1 John 2:22-23 "Who is the liar but the one who denies that Jesus is the Christ? He is antichrist, who denies the Father and the Son. Whoever denies the Son does not have the Father; the one who acknowledges the Son has the Father also." This is someone who denies Christ as the only anointed one and refuses the interrelationship of the persons who are deity.

1 John 4:2-3 "By this you know the Spirit of God: every spirit that confesses that Jesus Christ has come in the flesh is from God; and every spirit that does not confess Jesus is not from God; and this is the spirit of the antichrist, of which you have heard that it is coming, and now it is already in the world."
