because marriage is hard enough why create an area of disagreement that could go so deep into what you believe and what your ideals are. For some religion would include feelings on abortion, alternate life styles and yes even politics. And if you have kids what religion would you raise them in? what set of beliefs would you follow in your family? Get the idea of what problems different religions could cause in a marriage.if both spouses are devout in their beliefs?

It's easier, and they have much more in common. Also, they aren't going to argue about going to church or whatever if they are the same religion.

Because if the relationship gets serious, and leading to marriage, it's easier. That way there are less fights about which churches to attend and how to raise the kids.

usually because it is more safe to date people with ur same ideas n beliefs.... but i think that nowdays, we need to change that. we need to date people with diff. religions to understand more in depth other beliefs. n not be so in our own box. this world needs understanding.
