I mean other than the origin of life or a higher power, supreme being, intelligent designer.

I'll address it now since I know it will come up.

I am an atheist and I do not know what the origin of life is. I feel that creationism, intelligent design, and evolution are interesting beliefs and theories, but none have definitive evidence of the origin of life.

The question is that why most of the very religious people (fundalmentalist and fanatic included) always like to sport a beard or a goatee? Is there a religious singnificant there? If so can explain?
