I'm generally optimistic about the future, but in 100 years we will still have the same types of problems - economic hardship, greed, groups of people at conflict with each other for things their ancesters/leaders did to them in the past, disease, pollution. Some will be addressed and new ones will crop up. Even though modern living/technology causes a lot of problems it will also be used to solve an equal number of them.
I think it's hard to change things in 100 years, but I do think that we make progress overall as time goes on. So 500 years from now I'm pretty sure the world will be a safer, healthier and more prosperous place for more people than ever before.
In terms of art, music, literature, fashion and architecture it's impossible to say what will be happening in creative fields. But they quite possibly will be influenced by technology.
One thing definite, in 100 years the world will look at lot browner and yellower as the numbers of people of Asian/South Asian origin will not only swell but become more prosperous and visible. Some people say America will disappear. I don't quite think so but maybe its influence on the world will be small, since it is already shrinking today in favour of Europe and Asia.

I have no clue, but isnt it crazy to think that no matter how good we think we look now and how cool we think our music and everything is its not going to be cool when our kids are our age. My mom tells me stories all the time and we'll hear a song and shell be like oh this was the Sh!t when I was your age and Ill be like right mom... But we are wearing a lot of clothes inspired from the past like hippy stuff...? I cant imagine how much worse things will be in the future. I get embarassed watching MTV around my grandma b/c I know hear conservative stuff was back in the day all the time. we are definatly not conservative now!

Rob H is correct in answering your question, but to answer what you meant your question to mean is:
Possibly a wasteland of nuclear radioactivity after WWIII. Eistien believed that WWIIII would be fought with sticks and slingshots because WWIII would destroy civilization as we know it.
I really have no idea what our world will be like in 100 years or after. And it kinda makes me mad that I will never know. Damn.

Overcrowded, & worse. That is why they are putting chemicals in our food, that cause disease, & giving us drugs to keep us addicted to them, & we are being uses as guinea pigs by the FDA.
