my native language isnt english, so would you mind telling me some of those letters or acronyms you americans use to say stuff: like lol for lots of laughter, and stuff like that.. thanks.

Try the Acronym Finder. If you get a large number of results, click the "slang" tab to narrow down the list.
Also you could try a reverse look up on Acronym Finder for words such as "chat" (example below gives 160 answers)
