I'm not against them. But do you think it's their choice or they are born to be like that.

Do you hate gays or lesbians?

The Seriousness of Sin
Hopefully, this chapter will allow God to bring some new revelations to each one of us about sin. First, we need to take sin serious and realize how close we are to it! We take sin to lightly in a few of different ways. Most can be broken down into three basic excuses.
- It's not a "BIG" sin
Some might have the attitude that because their sin is not a "big" sin like the opening story of adultery, they can just continue in it.
- Everyone sins
Others might accept sin (even the"big") because everyone sins, and this is just their sin of choice. They're good in other areas.
- Uncontrollable circumstances
Some might believe they can continue in sin even though they know it's sin, because of the bad circumstances surrounding them.
We can justify anything - we might even be able to take some scripture out of context to back it up! But don't be fooled, sin is serious! It separates us from God. No matter how big or little, no matter how many others are sinning, and no matter how you can justify it, it still separates us from God. Who wants to be separate from God? We would never choose to walk through life, be married, have kids, go to work, or even minister to others WITHOUT God, but that's exactly what we do. On top of that, Jesus died so that we can be forgiven of our sin and once again be with God. So when we continue to sin in disobedience it's a slap in the face to Jesus, because we are rejecting His sacrifice. We can fool ourselves, but not God.

Everytime I see someone refer to being gay, Some (I said some, not all) christians refer to them as sinners and judge them and tell them they should repent, change their ways.. yada yada. Then they spout that yes, you are a sinner and chose to sin.. That tells me that are not informed and only talking refering to what they have learned and never spoke to someone that is gay. It is not a choice and we were born this way. I had a great father and mother, neither neglected me and I was close to my father and mother alike.. I just always knew. They also start refering to a passage in the Bible. The Bible is an interpretation. Some of the interpretations have been askewed from personal beliefs and are not correct. Like the interpretations of the role of women and how they should be treated. So before you judge someone.. get to know someone that is gay and talk to them, you will see if you are a person of faith that they are just like you.. human.

I am going to a women's health doctor for a well check up today, and I am a little nervous. Will you all please pray for me that everything will go smoothly and that everything will be alright. I've never enjoyed doctor's visits and I could really use God's help. I've been praying all morning about it and I would like to ask that my brothers and sister's in Christ pray w/ me on this.
Specifically, I don't want anything to be found wrong, I don' want to be nervous, and that it will be quick and painless. Thank you all and God Bless!!

It seems that when ever I talk to an atheist about my beliefe (even if it was they who started the conversation) they usually wind up telling me that I am closed minded (and becoming very emotional) simply because I don't "admit" that there is no way for me to prove to them that there is a God. Why should I have to prove any thing?

We all make jokes about certain groups of people. Isn't making stereotypical jokes about groups wrong? Doesn't it just encourage misinformation about certain groups? Where do you draw the line?
