i've always loved women. i came out when i was 15. i've been in serious relationships with women and am accepted by the queer community. i've recently fallen in love and entered a relationship with a transman and now people are asking me if i'm bi. does loving this man lose me my lesbian membership card?

Not only do you get to keep the lesbian card, you get the free Ford pickup and toolbox for your stout support of the Gay, Lesbian, and Transgendered community!

I'm a femme lesbian, but I do feel somewhat straight when dating an FTM, but I feel it's simply because they are men in a much deeper way than a heterosexual bio-man is. Congrats to you for following your heart and not others' opinions!

This person IS a male, and if you don't love them as a male (if you keep looking at him as a butch lesbian) there will be problems. So, yeah. You're at least bi (or pansexaul). Or you can say "screw your labels", but either way, you're with a man right now.

Why do you need a label? I hate labels. You are you, and that's all that matters. We cannot control who we fall in love with! If you are in love with this person then who cares what anyone else thinks. Do what makes you happy, thats what counts in the end! Hope it all works out! Take care!

please clarify:
FTM or MTF

the only prob I see is that at some point you might miss the female body and thinking. I have friends in this situation and the lesbian always seems to lose, she wants the person she fell in love with but the sex isnt the same, the emotional interaction changes and they start thinking maybe its time to find a woman again........you're in tough spot.....I sympathize with ya.
good luck

Only if you think it does. Don't let people put a label on you, because usually it's miscategorized.
