Karma is a sum of all that an individual has done, is currently doing and will do. The effects of all deeds actively create present and future experiences, thus making one responsible for one's own life, and the pain in others. In religions that incorporate reincarnation, karma extends through one's present life and all past and future lives as well.

A car travelling at over 80mph is weaving in and out of traffic (sometimes barely missing the cars they are weaving around). Traffic is travelling at 65-70mph approaching a construction zone. The car continues weaving, endangering the lives of everyone around them. The offender continues weaving through traffic, and increases speed.
The reckless driver gets behind an 18-wheeler to change lanes and to weave on the outside right of traffic, but there is a car blocking the way in the right-most lane. The speed demon edges closer (3'-4' away) to the truck, which suddenly has to slam on the brakes to avoid a potential accident ahead of it. Our speeding offender crashes into the rear of the truck, totalling their vehicle and killing everyone inside.
Other drivers safely come to a stop behind the wreck.
THAT is karma.

Karma is a very simple practice
You do good things, and say good things good things happen to you.
You do bad things, and say bad things, bad things happen to you.
Simple as that

It's a Hindu term for the law of sowing and reaping. I rather like it myself, as long as the reincarnation bit is left out. The law itself is definitely scriptural.

It is a Worldy Parallel of GOD's Nuetral Spiritual Law's of Reaping and Sowing. What goe's around come's around.
And don't forget the devil, who kill's, steal's and destroy's anybody he can when-ever he can. The devil can mess you up after you do GOOD and then tell you GOD did it, then you will be mad at GOD, and HE is Innocent.

I think it is good to think of it as a momentum.
Positive actions will lead to positive consequences in the future.
Negative actions will lead to negative consequences in the future.
It's a snowball effect.
