in America, we have people without homes, without food, without the basic necessities. so many good people go without medical and dental, prisoners get all these things..why?

there look very similar in terms of custom, practice, they also allow their god to possesses them, they both offer food to they God. Both religon has many version of God. And many more.

Sometimes when I sit in a public place next to someone of a different ethnicity than me, that person would move a seat down, a seat on the other side of someone else, or in a totally different area. Now I'm sure there are people out there telling me to get over it, but that normally is a response from people who actually are guilty of the action or who really don't know what to say. Anyway, I find this narrowminded act very offensive because I'm not one to be rude, closeminded, dangerous or any other negative adjective I (or you) can think of. Why do people do that?

sorry I couldn't finish but if so do u think it is right even though they never heard of them. I ask because lots of people for ex., a majority of people in Asia are buddhist or hindu etc. and if alot of them never hear of is it fair that they are sent to Hell if they do go?

Brilliant scientist Kurzweil in his last 2 books( cf. the Singularity : When Humans Transcend Biology ) predicts that in 2 decades man will be able to extend human life indefinitely.
Since the fire and brimstone will be dimmed greatly in the human psyche, is it probable that these myths can survive without the threat of damnation?
What use is salvation when death can be eliminated? Certainly the social cohesion obtained via fear weakens. How can each successive generation of nano-enhanced theists NOT become more distanced from hellish themes?

I waited to ask this question in the hope that all those literate Californians have finally gotten off the freeway. Its still early . Like to hear from the East too. Any where East of Reno is East enuff.

Recently I have read that some of them in New York are calling to the Jewish communities to attack gays and lesbians. In Jerusalem they were passing out pamphlets offering rewards for anyone who attacks a gay person. What the hell is wrong with them, have they already forgotten what it is like to be persecuted? Did they learn nothing from the Holocaust?

I have heard many Protestants claim that Catholics are not Christians, or Catholics do this, or Catholics do that and I am wondering as to how many have actually gone to a Catholic Mass to see for themselves how we conduct our services. And before you ask I have been to many different services at many different churches. That is part of my study that brought me to Catholicism.
