Go with your heart. That is where your religion truly is. It is where it begins.

As a Christian I go with what God says in the the Bible, not with what men who are part of an organized religions say. I don't mean to put down anyone's beliefs but the Muslim religion has a lot of things in it that contradict the character of God as it has been previously revealed to us in the Bible. Add to that the fact that different leaders add what they want in order to manipulate people to their own will and you have a big problem with trying to live your life by what your "religion" says to do. Remember what Jesus said:
John 14:6 Jesus said to him, I am the Way, the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but by Me.
Matthew 24:24 For false Christs and false prophets will arise and show great signs and wonders; so much so that, if it were possible, they would deceive even the elect. 25 Behold, I have told you beforehand. 26 Therefore if they shall say to you, Behold, He is in the desert! Do not go out. Behold, He is in the secret rooms! Do not believe it.

Well if your don't agree with your religion, perhaps you wnat to go atheist or look at other religions. It's important to feel right about your decisions. Going with God should be the same as going with your heart, if the two are constantly seperate then your beleifs don't match your feelings. You don't want to go around feeling like you did the wrong thing. Be a good person, keep yourself happy, abide the laws and don't hurt yourself or others. If your everyday decisions don't match your beleifs then weigh out what makes them disagree and make some sort of adjustments so that you don't make yourself crazy.

Go with what God wants you to do. If you are not born again, you can't possibly know what God would say. He would not tell you to go with your heart, unless your heart's desire is to praise and worship Him first and for most. Happiness can only be obtained through acceptance of Jesus as your savior, and repenting of your sins, and inviting Jesus into your heart and life. He must come first. But you are only 14 years old, and are very young. If you do not know Jesus or you do not have a relationship with Him thorugh Salvation, this is the scripture for you...
John 3:16-17
16 For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
only Gen 22:2
17 For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.
18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.
Ready or not, Jesus is coming in our life time.

Well, the Old Testament says that God wrote his law on people's hearts, so if it must come down between the two, I'd go with your heart. Pray about it first, though. Even the Catholic Church, that most hierarchical of institutions, says that it's possible for religious leaders to be mistaken on issues and that you need to follow your conscience.

Go with your heart, most definitely. That's what I am doing. I take, from my former religion of Catholicism, and from every other religion, theory and belief I study, what serves me and leave the rest. Leave what doesn't make sense to you or doesn't ring true within you and follow your own path. We are all on different paths to the same destination. God. God IS your heart.

Yes, your religion should be in your heart, but your heart can deceive you since all people are imperfect. The Word of God is always true no matter what, so that is what you should listen to.

Not much of a religion if it doesn't reach the heart...
Perhaps the better question is, is God (Allah, whatever) concerned with your heart? If so, and you're finding your religion does not satisfy the heart, look deeper--or look elsewhere.

Well, it really depends on the situation, doesn't it. Both religion and your heart are going to be wrong sometimes. Try to be happy, safe, and realize that even adults are just old children.
