in America, we have people without homes, without food, without the basic necessities. so many good people go without medical and dental, prisoners get all these things..why?

Its because our government is so backwards. People who commit crimes should not be entitled to any privledges except to eat soggy bread and drink water. also they should not be able to sleep on anything except the floor, even in some cases that is just too good. And another thing, makes me wonder why some people continue going back to jail/prison, they must like the way it is.

Good question! I'd like to know the same thing! That's ALWAYS irked me. I've thought about committing a crime to end up in jail just so I could further my education and etc. Makes me sick that a lot of us need to work our arses off and still can't get or do the things prisoners get and/or do.
This country is just F'd up.

Because if we actively denied prisoners those things, it would not only be inhumane but also could be considered cruel and unusual punishment. With homeless people, they're in charge of their own lives, and some would say they were to blame for the situation they're in. I know that's unfair, but that's how it goes.

Because they get good food, a/c in the cell, comfortable bed, they do not have to go out and work in the HOT SUN. If they are smart they can educate them-
selves. and ONE in a Million maybe, turns to be a good citizen. But whatever
crime they commit, they will still be judged on their DAY.

You know a homeless person can go kill a person and then enjoy those benifits. So i think why don't just do it. Then i remeber homeless people got homless by birng ignorant

It does seem kind of unfair at times, but they are human beings regarless of their crime and not all of them are monsters. You cna't just throw them in a cell and treat them like animals.

Because once the government decides to arrest you, they can't just ignore you, they have to take care of you. The rest of us they can ignore.

and on top of all the free things they get there wifes get to come and have sex with there hubby....... or they have a wife in the cell with them.

All they need do is commit some crimes. Its not very hard.
