(I am a progressive Christian. I am not trying to rip The Bible. I do, though, think there are many verses from The Bible that we need to come to terms with...I don't personally agree with what Paul is saying here)

What makes human life so damn valuable? I don't understand why people think you should be locked up or executed if you kill a person and eat him/her, but we routinely do the same thing to animals in the wild.
And don't tell me that it's because animals don't have souls. The part of Genesis that talks about Noah's Ark says that animals all have the Breath of Life, the same thing that God put into Adam and Eve.

I know most theists do not accept evolution for varying reasons; the primary reason being that it would invalidate our special place in the universe as being created by god in its image. But is there an actual disagreement with any of evolution's principals?

Let's find out!

The following principals must be met for evolution to exist and to occur.

1.) The structure of DNA expresses the organism's phenotypic characteristics. (A wolf is a wolf because of its DNA)

2.) DNA can replicate and mutate. (Insertion, deletion, duplication & transposition)

3.) Some combinations of genetic material found in DNA can be beneficial or deleterious. (Extra chromosome - Mental retardation; Heterogeneous allels for sickle cell anemia - Immunity to malaria.)

4.) An organisms success influences is ability to reproduce and therefore pass on its DNA.

For those theists who do not accept evolution, which of the above do you disagree with any why?

I'm working on a youth group Bible study and I am amazed how people can sit through a sermon on a topic and understand it, but then fail to apply it in their life. I've done it myself -- which brought it to my attention. A while back, I got totally stressed out over a situation before realized that all I had to do was apply something I'd myself done a Bible study on only recently.

By sexual immorality I mean adultery, and multiple partners. The Bible clearly states that sexual immorality is wrong, and yes homosexuality is included in that, but why does it get all of te attention? A guy/girl that has had 50 partners is just as bad as a homosexual guy/girl that has had 50 partners. A sin is a sin. Why don't we speak out about sexual immorality as a whole and not just one sect (homosexuality).

Has anyone come across hands which have no lines on their palms as can usually be found. I have read some hands as plamistry is my hobby but I have never came across a pair of hands with no lines at all. If someone has come across, I would like him/her to send me a print of these hands, if possible and tell me details of their life events and nature to whatever extent possible. I found a reference to such hands in a book titled 'Science of Palmistry' by 'Edward Heron-Allen'. He states that, "Besides the comparatively ordinary signs we find in some instances (though such instances are excessively rare) the actual sign of a planet traced on a mount. As a rule, when this occurs the rest of the hand is perfectly plain, the whole force of the character being concentrated in the quality indicated by the precipitation of the planetary sign. As these are so intensely rare, I will give three examples only which I have had the fortune actually to see myself."

ok my sisters boyfriend lives with us and he's a major as*hole.he has 2 kids with my sister but hes a high school dropout with no job. and he is also violent he has put his hands on me my sister and cussed at my mom.
