Looking for a Bible verse that says it isn't enough to learn things, you have to use them in you daily walk.

Question

I'm working on a youth group Bible study and I am amazed how people can sit through a sermon on a topic and understand it, but then fail to apply it in their life. I've done it myself -- which brought it to my attention. A while back, I got totally stressed out over a situation before realized that all I had to do was apply something I'd myself done a Bible study on only recently.
