As a matter of fact, I did know that. I'd love to see a breakdown of which denominations have been represented by said preacher over the years.

Yep! and at the Unite Nations they hold prayer services in the chapel that contains a huge magnetic stone, contribute by Dag Hammershold. The prayer room is pretty well run by the Bahia Faith -- an outcast CULT group that islam wish would go away.

That is utterly revolting.
For a country that was based on separation of church and state that is staggering hypocracy. Now it's not more hypocritical than a priest or what ever other charlatan that takes the money but it's still pretty bad.

I didn't knew that, thank you for teaching me.
I do believe that is a great idea to start every session of Congress with a prayer.

Yes, his salary for 1/2 an hour. They aren't paid their entire year salary. Just like any public speaker, they are paid for their service at that time and that's it.

Yes I did, though I have never paid much attention to it. Though no doubt the "Separation of Church and staters" will probably go after it with a furor soon.

Thank you for letting me know. As soon as I'm old enough I'll try to bring legal action against them.
