The book of Thoth is the formal name of the Tarot deck. It was created for use in ceremonial magic, which is almost always satanic in nature. Would you crack open a copy of the satanic bible and read off a few incantations just for kicks? Why not? Understand that, by using a Tarot deck, you are doing much the same thing.

Is this inheritently evil? Probably not as the act lacks both malevolence and negative outcome. However, it is an ignorant thing to do.

Tarot card reading can be very real, only 2 spirits can give answers to the future this being the devil and God. and it's not God. The Bible talks about staying away from these kinds of things.

I do believe you mean Tarot, and no it's considered 'psychic' ability. I don't think psychics classify themselves as 'magic' that's like David Copperfield and such. Evil? Not in the least, it's suppose to be helpful and a source of guidance. Do I believe in it? No. But I know its not evil or magic either one. It would be more 'supernatural' than either of those possiblities.

Tarot card reading is a rather irrational activity, no worse than any other religious or spiritual activity.
