Please explain (with real statistics and logic, not religion) why gay people should not be allowed to marry. Frankly, I don't see any good reason, and I'd like to know why people who don't want gays to marry think as they do. Or do y'all not think and just hide in homophobia and pseudo-religious propaganda?

I've yet to see anyone make a logical debate against gay marriage, and I'm sick to death of "Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve."

I find it pretty depressing that no matter what people can't see any sort of view point other than their own. Instead of realizing where someone else is coming from, people choose to demean whatever it is that they don't agree with and act like only what they think can be right. Any opinions?

i have a friend that says he was born gay, but i dont believe that, i believe that society has influenced people to belieive that they are gay and that it is ok...if men were meant to be with men and women to be with women there would be no children on this earth, that is why man was meant to be with woman, and woman with man...society is a big influence for allowing them to act like that in public and allowing gay festivals and etc...

If "god" made the world and adam and eve in 7 days and they were the first creatures to walk the earth (I believe adam and eve were suposed to be human) and we all came from them then where do dinosaurs fit in? they couldn't have been here before adam and eve because there was no world, they couldn't be here after because we would be living with them now. I have been watching a special on A & E about the KKK & racism in the south. I have to say that I am humiliated by these people that designated Alabama a "white state" and all gays, jews, and blacks should go elsewhere. I have lived in Alabama all my life and I just want to let people who have never been here know that not everyone feel this way. In fact, I personally have never seen any racist acts in person here. Therefore, I strongly believe that news broadcasts and such pick out the worst in Alabama and televise it. I couldn't tell you how many times I was humiliated by someone representing AL on the news talking about hurricane Katrina and thier trailor blowing away all the while having no teeth, holding a cigarette, 9 mos. pregnant, and talking in the most southern accent I have ever heard in my life. Bottom line: there are plenty of happy African Americans in Alabama, and we are not all rednecks. Just because we love hunting & football, does not make us stupid. Anyone agree???

I think this is one of the most repugnant things you can do. I don't want your damn nasty azz spit on my papers. I rectify that crap if someone hands me papers with their spit on it from turning the pages and to make it worse they lick their fingers in front of you as if you are not repulsed enough from watching them knowing they might hand them to you afterwards.

If you do this please stop because it’s just unsanitary not to mention unbearable for various people like me to watch.

I have asked a couple of questions tonight, to do with religon. This is my final draft, as it were...

A lot of people from various faiths are telling me that I will be eternally damned if I do not worship *insert particular belief structure here* and repent my life so far. Yet what is it in my current lifestyle that makes me evil? Here are my personal beliefs:

***I believe that everyone is responsible for their own actions.
***I believe that if everyone were to do just one thing a day that made another happy, the world might just save itself.
***I believe that no one person has the right to proclaim themselves better than anyone else.
***I believe that everyone has within them the potential to help create a better world.


Just because I do not label myself, apparently I should go to somewhere that is reserved for evil people. I do not see my beliefs as evil. Why are people telling me that my way of life is wrong?

Many people here have answered my question about differences between sins. Most said a sin is a sin and God does not diferentiate. This means that homosexuals are no more sinful than anyone else, so why can't they be ministers and full members ofa christian church?

Matthew 27:51-53,the graves opened and bodies of the saints came out of the graves after his resurrection and went into the city and appeared unto many. To me that is wonderful,there was so much power that the saints rose when he did!I wonder why I haven`t ever heard that talked about in church?

I'm Palestinian.
Israeli army bombed our village 2 days a go by guided missile. I was in Beirut at that time. many peoples died and injury including my mother and my 8 years old sister. She is dying now at hospital.
I don't know what should i do with this anger and sadness,
I just wanna her back.
To all of you, Muslims, Christians, Jewish or any peoples who believe in God, will you please do me a favor to pray for her healthy?

Everytime a muslim or palestianian asks a question about muslim and why do americans hate us or why did the israelies bomb our village kind of questions , their questions are removed !

But, when a Christian or jew or anyone that is not muslims or arab, ask a question about "why do you hate muslims", or "do muslims believe in hate and the devil", and all those silly and irrational questions, most of them aren't removed?!

This is a follow up question--God destroyed Sodom. God told the Rich young man that he was not perfect. Jesus also differentiates between the "Greatest" commandments. Love God and Love one another. Does this not imply greater and lesser morality, thus sin?
