I've been depressed I'd say for the last 7 years. Every once in a while I will do an online depression screening test, just to see where I'm at, and every single time my results have suggested I seek professional help. My sister finally asked me if I was depressed last December, and she told me my whole family's noticed and is worried.

I've been very happy this year but now I feel so empty, so still and so lost. I can't do anything I want because I just sit here or go to sleep. I really just don't know what to do. If anyone has any experience with this I'd love to hear how you deal with your sadness.

I have been friends with a guy for a year. We go out to lunch and hang out all the time. We act and talk like friends, we tell eachother about our lives, and about the other people we date casually, but sometimes it feels like there should be more. Just curious. No offence intended, Why is it Muslims and Jews do not eat pork, pig meat? Why is it they cannot even touch a pig? Which part of their religious texts stipulate that?

I have been a lesbian for 2 years. I am in love with a women. but recently I have been having thoughts about my actual orientation being straight. I have never been with a guy, and I'm confused as to whether or not I should try it, to make sure I'm living the life I'm supposed to be. The thought of being with a man makes me cringe. But is it because it's something unfamiliar or am I really a lesbian?

I once believed in such a place till I decided to follow the divine compass placed in my heart. This took a lot of strength because before then my ethos was fear based. Not only do I believe perfect love drives out all fear but I believe God is better than many fundamentalist portray the higher power to be. The Apostle Paul once killed Christians because he thought he was doing God a favor. Just goes to show how wrong you can be. I am asking this question not because I do not have my own opinions but because I think the process is important for people to work through themselves. I just hope they don't spout out something they were told but something they have discovered by not only seeing the mirror of the world but also looking deep within themselves.

I grew up in a Catholic family but a very relaxed one. I guess my problem with the faith is I was attending CCD classes and my teacher was explaining to me that if someone killed a family member of mine that I must forgive them as a Catholic. But honestly most Catholics I know wouldn't even do that. Is this true that you must forgive someone so sick and twisted? Is there a good book or website that answers a lot of questions like this. I'm always questioning the faith to the point where I just believe something exists and I wont know what it is till I get there.

Iknow the obvious reasons-guitars have a volume control;all guitars look good with a g-string;the more they are picked on the better;they maintain their shape for life;they always respond to your touch;you pay once, you own them;you can trade up to a newer model;you can change their tone;they will wait at home for you and if you bring another one with you, that's ok.

some cultures are not as sociable as others for unknown reasons.
it is believed that we human beings are social animals and need other people to feel okay.a sociable type makes friends with anybody without considering their history or reputation.an unsociable one do actually makes friends with others but carefully.
they usually keep a very small group of friends rather than a large
group.whatever type of personality we may be,that is just how we are and cannot be changed.
