Unfortunately, I am afraid most of us do. In reality, we have an oligarchy. And then we do have that "king" who usurped the throne.

I think if you have been watching the news you'd see that is the on;y reason were still in Iraq. Bush wants the people there to have freedom and democracy. There are many county's who are under democracy, however the rulers there make it very hard to be free. Just like in China, read about their culture, you'll see they're not actually "free".
So to answer the question:
Americans do not think they are the only counrty who has a democracy and has freedom.

I dont know about other americans but I feel that the U.S.A is the only true country in the world the others are just jealous and wish they were countries we rule them all and we are the most powerful country in the world

I am an American and yes sometimes it seems as if they do. Many often seem to think that all other countries should want to have the same type of government we do. It alarms me that so many are not knowledgeable about more kinds of governments.

And why are do they just consider people that live in the U.S to be Americans, what about Canada, and Mexico thats America too.

China is not "free" because it does not have a democracy. It is communist, yes, that is right love. We are in bed with a communist country , well looky there.
