Congrats on making it this far! I'm 21, and I still don't know what I'm going to do for the rest of my life. For now I'm taking the gen. ed. courses (the basic courses required for any degree) at a community college and trying to get some sort of administrative certification so I can make a little more money while I figure it out. But life after high school is a LOT less stressful, especially if you DONT procrastinate. Good luck!

I'm a senior too, 63. My mother wants to know when I'm going to get a real job. She's 90. Still drives her Honda Accord and is on call when other seniors need to go to doctor. Being a senior isn't so bad kid. Just go with the flow, do what grabs your interest, take chances, calculated risks. Have fun, do what's right.
Actually, I work with adolescent boys, some are registered sex offenders, others have other problems. I teach them how to make aluminum fenders and gas tanks for motorcycles, build gas powered toys, work on Habitat houses. Who needs a real job when you can have fun like this. I'll never retire, I just can't grasp the concept; it's like quit doing what you enjoy and go to God's waiting room in Florida? You gotta be kidding.
Do what you like, do it well, have fun. Works for me.

I'm in college and I have a pretty good idea of what I want to do, although the future is full of possibilites. Definitely go to college and follow your heart to figure out where you need to be. Learn about the world and be flexible, open to change. What you decide to do can always be changed- it's not set in stone. Most people change careers at least once, so don't worry. Life is meant to be explored and LIVED fully. Don't stress. Just learn, relax, enjoy, have fun, follow your heart, and serve. Live for something bigger than you.

I am 41 and still don't know what I am going to do the rest of my life either. just finished school again :)
Don't fret, it happens to all of us. The longest relationship in my life has been with education. I have had some things that have caused me to change directions in mid course. But this happens to everyone and it is said that peopel change careers at last three times in their adult lives. This does not count how many jobs within each careeer.
this is normal so don't feel as if what you are feeling is not...
It wil be ok...one day at a time one step at a time also gets you to the next...and so on.
Good Luck!

You may try living with helpless but friendly people in a community in the Philippines.
It will make you feel good to help them even in your senior years and you'll be a bit farther from Alzheimer's for it because you'll be entertained and interacting with real people a lot.
http://care4com.blogspot.com may arrange security, location and details for you. :)
