No one is obligated to do anything. However if you are a good person you will want to love your neighbor, help those who need help, be attentive to those in nursing homes, hospitals,. Collect can goods, bread, crackers, chips, milk for the poor. Pray for the less forturnate daily and ask God to help direct you to do more. He will help you do just that.

No one owes anyone anything beyond common courtesy and respect. Anything more denotes an 'overblown sense of entitlement' that so many people seem to have today, believing they're owed something that wasn't earned or given.

To be a good samaritan & help when someone is in trouble. To be charitable when someone is truly in need. To give each other the respect that we would expect for ourselves. To be treated equally.

to not kill someone unless they are trying to kill or harm you or another innocent. other than that you don't owe anyone anything but you won't have many friends. for all of you that said the golden rule how does that apply to a sado masochist? if I enjoy inflicting and recieving pain does that mean i can do that to anyone?
