hello, my pastor has a mega church in a small but growing town, and alot of the fellow churches doesn't agree with his charisma, not only that they say things about him, and some know his family...some say that he comes from a family of rednecks....but he has a biracial church, and loves on all races, it's his goal to break the barriers of racism, and prejudiceness in our city...i love this church it has changed my life, and i would like to remain a member, how do i fight the gossip, and if any of it is true what do i say? some people in my church are afraid to say what church they go to, and i'm beginning to feel the same way....help if at all possible. thanks!

Why is it that people always use the excuse that they were mistreated as children when they are caught mistreating children? Like: I was abused as a child is a good enough excuse when they are abusing their own children. If a person was abused as a child they know how horrible it feels why do they go and treat another human being that way? Why does society take pity on such people? Shouldn't they be held accountable for their actions no matter how they were brought up? Is a person that was never abused but as an adult molests and beats a child any more guilty then a person that was molested and beaten as a child and grows up to inflict the same pain on another. I feel that if a person has experienced such pain they should never put someone else through it and should be held responsible for their actions with no pity. How do you feel when you hear of such things on the news? Do you pity a person that was abused and then abuses others? PAIN SUCKS FOR EVERYONE

I have an extremely high sex drive, even for a young man of my age. In contrast my girlfriend has an incredinly low sex drive in comparison with other girls.

We both love each other and realise that sex plays a secondary role in the relationshio itself, and we both realise that we should accomodate each others desires...eg, I need to calm down a bit, she needs to become more providing (is that an acceptable term?)

Anyway my question is, who do you think, if you had to sway one way or the other, should be a little more accomodating of who?

Like I've already said the sex is secondary but I'm sure you all realise physical urges can become especially overpowering and we have agreed to help each other change. But what would you say?

I'm not trying to be sexist or obsessive here but would just like to hear what you'd do in our position.

My family is very religous except me. I beleive in god and any kind of divin higher power. I dont beleive in the church almost everyday my family and people that know my family are always cramming this crap that i'm going to hell cause i dont go to church..the problem is i have always been uncomfortable in church they even had me thinking i had the devil in me when i was younger cause i was uncomfortable. i will never forget it, i was about 11 and just cause i was uncomfortable the ministers wife put her hand on my head and started screaming in my ear for some devil thing or something to get out. so anyways that was off the subject i dont beleive in church just cause theres so much curruption in it..all the molistations and stealling why should any one? and i just find it to hard to beleive that unless your christian your going to hell. i do beleive in god i just dont beleive in the word of man. why do people say your going to hell, i thought only god can judge me not them.

Truly, if there was no God, there would be no need to have an established belief system to deny His existence!! What say you?

The Italian renaissance was began in Sicily. Merchants in Sicily brought the seeds of the renaissance to the north. Sicily had culture long befor the citys of Milan and Florence. The Milanise where cave people when there was Culture and learning in Sicily. Learn your history Italians.
