Why is Islam wrong?

Question

Everyone tells me islam is a bad religion and full of people influenced by the devil, but why? Was Muhammad Satan in man's form, and Jesus God in man's form?

why does muhammad talk about genies all the time, did he have a genie?

For two prinicpal reasons:

1) The Bible states that 'God is Love'. The Qu'ran states that Muhammad is the prophet of God. A prophet speaks for God. If God is love then that prophet must also express love in words and deeds. Muhammad did not.

2) Muhammad's claim of prophet status came over a thousand years after Moses, and >500 years after Jesus. It was an attempt to assume a mandate and role given to someone else who had preceded him.

But how do we know Jesus was the true prohet of God?

Because Jesus is the only teacher of righteousness that preached love; love of neighbor, and even love of your enemies -- no other teacher in the history of mankind has made love of friend and foe their central theme. To have taught love makes sense since the Prophet of the God of love must by nature manifest that love. Jesus not only preached but lived love! He was the embodiment of love.

Jesus also set other standards by which we should live namely humility, non-violence, poverty (the opposite of greed), charity, forgiveness, and tolerance (of women, of sinners, of the infectious ill, of criminals, and of other 'undesirables' of society). These are the attributes and characteristics, the formula if you will, despearately needed to live in peace on earth. Precious few have lived up to Jesus's standards.

In essence, Jesus' life is the true path or formula for world peace. Gandhi, a hindu, knew this and incorporated non-violence into his struggle for independence for his people. So did Martin Luther King, Jr. Non-violence is a powerful force that can bring down whole nations.

Muhammad, on the other hand, did not make love a central theme of his belief system. Instead, he set a diiferent example for his followers by personally engaging in violence through war and conquest.

Those who take up the sword in the name of God be they Christian, Jew or Muslim, don't know who God is since that is not the way of God.

The way of God is love and peace and non-violence.

Ok, Islam is not a bad religion,it is the perfect religion, Prophet Muhammed wasnt influenced by the devil and neither are his followers. We also beleive Jesus was a prophet of Islam but christians go over the top in loving him.
People probably tell you these things because they have never tried to find out Islam for themselves, and they stereotype us according to the stuff that is happening in the world, remember stuff that happens in eastern countries that is barbaric has nothing to do with Islam.
I am not influenced by the devil, I worship Allah the Great and follow Prophet Muhammed peace be upon him.

I don't believe in religion, because in my opinion, all God Men are lairs, but that's not our matter here.

Islam is a religion, like Christianity, and their Quran says that the closest religion to Islam is Christianity.

Islam is not a bad or fake religion, it's a good and strong religion, produced, once, a great empire that contained different nations.

Muhammad is a prophet, no less, no more, as Quran itself says, and Jesus, in Quran, is the word of God.

Satan, devil, and all those names are enemies of Muslims.

Quran and Muhammad talked about the evil and good spirits, Angels, Demons, Djins, and etc.. Like Christianity did. Do not forget that there is a science named Demonology.
Muhammad has no Djins, but he heard some of them.

Islam fits the middle east countries, because it is their history. Their empire rose and fall with the popularity of Islam. Alot of Islam tradition goes way back to the myth/pagan gods and rituals they were doing back even before Mohammed's time.

If you are in the middle east, I would say for your the sake of making life easier go with it.

If not, then don't. Islam is not viewed as a "holy" religion, by anyone outside the middle east, despite what the muslims will tell you.

As far as God searching goes, I wont push my beliefs on you, but it is something you need to read, ask alot of questions, and get GOOD answers.

Just look at the way muslims answer questions here, hateful, insulting remarks. Their words speak louder than their actions.

Pray about it, read the bible, and just ask questions to people who actually believe in the word.

Islam is actually a lot like Christianity, with certain exceptions, like they believe Muhammed was a prophet that came after Jesus. I am not 100% sure on this, but I think they believe Jesus existed as a man, a prophet, but might not think he was the son of God.

People who say it is evil are just plain ignorant, and got an F in Ancient History.

i think u should know about Islam & cristianity before asking such stupid question. muhammad was a prophet of god & jesus was also a sacered & nice man & prophet of god. if u r cristian then please read all the versions of bible. u will see some words realting that a new prophet will came in the world after jesus when the world fell in ignorence & darkness. jesus himself wanter to be one of the followers of the muhammed(the last prophet of god)
islam is not wrong just u have to know about it. our prophet has told to help the needy, & to respect all the prophets send by god. our holy book guides us in every way of life.
neither jesus was god nor muhammed was satin both were the most sacered persons of the world & the jesus was the son of virgin marry.the difference lies in that muhammed was here to fullfill the duty of jesus after jesus.

all the people who say islam is wrong must have the reading of islamic teachings. & pleeeeeeeeease

In the Bible in genesis God says, Of Ishmael I will create a great nation, and from him 12 righteous descendants will I give. Prophet Muhammad (SAW) was the only one to claim to be from prophet Ishmael, plus he had 12 righteous descendants all of whom were poisoned by the corrupt governments of the time. The Bible also says false prophets will not be successful, but in the not too far off future, Islam will be the largest religion in the world. The Bible according to St. Barnabas also states that a Prophet named Muhammad (SAW) will come after prophet Jesus. It is also in the current Bible but in a word Americans/Europeans don't understand, 'parclytis', which means Muhammad and is only found in the original Aramaic language of prophet Jesus. A Jewish man name Saul, later known as St. Paul, introduced the pagan idea of Suez son of Apollo into Christianity to destroy it from within as him killing thousands of Christians as Saul was not enough according to Christian historians.

My dear Islam is not wrong but the present Muslims are wrong. they are not practicing Islam as it is. In all the nations's history a period comes when that nation goes down to the earth and then they rise again. Islam is the only religion which is very physiological and tells you even the minutest aspects of life. Islam is not what Osama and his followers are practicing. The Osama is practicing what Americans have taught hem during Afghan war. It is certainly not Islam. Islam means a religion of "Salamti" mean peace. Please do not listen to hare say. Read yourself about Islam, only then you will come to know that how good this religion is?
The concept of "Jehad" has been totaly distorted by the American led Clergy of Islam. "Jehad" real meaning are to do stuggle to get the bad things away and to fight for good things. THis does not mean to fight against non Muslims. Mohammad PBUH has taught peace in all fields of life. Quran says the greatest "Jehad" is to fight with againt your own concentious to get rid of your own individual bad things. To fight against non muslims with weapon is the most inferior form of "Jehad".
I will invite all of you to read Quran and about Islam yourself.
When Muslims were pracicing Islam in true spirits till 1200 - 1400 years A.D. they were at the top of world in all fields, since they have left Islam and started interpretting Islam in their intrest their downfall started.
I tell you all the human value which now West is practicing Muslims have practiced and implemented many years ago, just to give an example muslims in the era of Caliph Umer started giving living allounce to the nursing mothers while they were rearing children. There are many more example.

The only people who say that about Islam are uneducated people who are basing their assumptions on what they see in the Middle East (And they stretch the religion to fit around the society, not the other way around)
