"why do people say your going to hell, i thought only god can judge me not them."
You are absolutely correct: only God can judge people!
*He he he!* The next time you feel you're being judged unfairly, say this: "The lot by which you measure will be measured out to you." (It means that God will judge you the way you have judged others.) If they ask you where it is in the Bible, just say something like, "You ought to know since you're SO much BETTER than I am!" (with sarcasm!)
A lot of people don't like church. Doesn't make them (or you) bad.
Pray about it. It really does help.

Church is a place for like minded people to congregate with other like minded people. It gives them a community to be a part of and this is a comfort to most who go. Sometimes when your new to an area it's the quickest way to meet people there because it represents often in some places THE community. I have not done this but know of others who have, just to make some friends and then stop going. There was a time not too long ago where it was a fine able offense in England not to go to church when everybody was 'expected' to attend. As to your general question, ?do u believe in church', no I don't. I find it's purpose, while good in intentions most often, to be an untruth that was propagated to control society by fear of damnation. And if the person who put their hand on your head at 11 years of age and screamed in your ear for the devils to be gone is the typical type of person who would be going to heaven, I would first have to consider my options if invited there.

I don't believe that the church your family went to was the right one for you. I would try different churches until you find one where you are more comfortable. I would study up on the different philosophies of denominations and find one that you agree with or are more interested in learning about. For example, some are more into preaching the "hellfire and brimstone" aspect where others are into preaching "God is Love" aspect of Christianity. Corruption is not present in every church, but there are some "church politics" or hot button issues like abortion for example.
You are right. Only God knows who is going to heaven or hell. Only God knows what is truly in your heart.
I like going to church because it is a scheduled time that I set aside to worship God. I find it easier and much more interesting if I am surrounded by people who know more than I do about God.
Church brings out the best qualities in me. I have done more good things working through my church than I have on my own. So to completely dismiss these good aspects of church because you have had a bad experience with a church you had to go to because you couldn't choose your own is a bit like throwing the baby out with the bathwater. Try a few new places, maybe you will change your mind.

I dont' believe in church but I do believe in God as a higher power. Church is a body of believers or even a building. I believe in something that serves a greater purpose.
Now as far as your situation of laying hands on people, we don't do that at my church. And I have been terrified of that too. Alot of things man say we are going to hell for were done in the bible as well. You can believe in God and read the bible without the worship. I know plenty of people who watch the gospel sermons and sunday services on tv and worship that way. Its your preference, but not all churches lay hands.

As for the church part, I think you had a bad experience as a child that probably turned you off to the whole thing. But in general, it should be a place where people who believe the same thing can come together and worship and encourage each other.

well going to church every sunday and holy days of obligations is a church law, it also say you should go to church at least at easter time, the laws are made to bring the comunity to gether so that after prayer you get to know each other, though the bible says , where there are two people or more gathered to gether in my name they too shall be blessed,, i dont go to church regularly but that does not mean i dont follow the principals of the ten commandments,i do, well molestation and stealing usually happen when some one does not care for god or humanity, this is why religion brings about control in your body and mind and you think twice before you commit those henious crimes, those who commit those crimes are not religious at all, but because they are doing that you are are staying away from religion, you can go astray, i dont say go to church on sunday, but remember to go once in a way you got to be thankful for the good things in life and prayfor the molesters and stealers too

You will not go to hell because you don't go to church. That is ridiculous. In fact, when you talked about molestations, cheating, stealing, and overall corruptness in the churches you basically proved that the people who go to church are no better or worse than those of us who don't go to church. I believe in God but I don't go to church. I do pray by myself and in settings where I feel it is appropriate. The best thing you can do for yourself to ensure not going to hell is believe in God and be the best person you can be.
If you do feel that you are missing out on something by not going to church remember, all churches are different. Shop around. Talk to your friends about what they believe in and if it sounds interesting to you, ask if you might attend with them.

I believe in God and the bible. Church is suppose to be place were your learn how to live right according to the bible. It is not the building that I seeking it is God. You are not going to hell if live right and believe in God. Church you went is not of God. Not all Churches are fake and phony. You have to pray that God show what direction to take and where to go.

Christians are BRAINWASHED.
Sorry, but there is no other way to say it.
BTW/ all other religions are like this too.
Read a bunch of different "holy" books and talk to "different kinds of people".
Try to be a fair, honest, compassionate person. Try to look at both the good AND bad in everything.
The truth will reveal itself in time.

Organized religion or better known as "CHURCH" today is purely a man-made invention. The older they've been around, the more rituals and traditions they have invented for their members. And each of these church doctrines is skewed to sustain their own agenda as to what teachings they want to prescribe, and the methods used to systematically denounce any and all naysayers.
These are 'churches' of convenience, of exclusivity, of socialized fellowships, and of feeding the greed and power of its few elite leaders. THAT is NOT the original intent of what Religion is meant to be...
It is good that you question the church of your fathers, for we are told by the Greatest Prophet and Teacher, Yeshua Messiah [JC] to "prove and test" each doctrine, each teaching, each prophet, each preacher and each spiritual leader that we ever come across in our lives. He warned us of all the FALSE PROPHETS and FALSE CHRISTS by even including Himself when He said to "examine" His own words, whether "they be of God or of me..."
Do not worry about all others who judge you, for you know in your heart what is right and what is wrong, what is good and what is bad. Do the right thing for NO ONE else can or WILL SAVE your soul EXCEPT YOU alone.
Follow your bliss and move on to greener pastures to follow The Law.
"Seek and you shall find. Listen and you shall hear. Open your eyes and you shall see. Knock and the door shall be opened to you."
Heed these words of Wisdom of Yeshua... who gave us the sevenfold teaching of the Brotherhood.
Peace be with you!
