What About Vatican II?
by David J. Stewart
This article just scratches the surface of Vatican II. A person does not need to read very far into Vatican II to find unbiblical teachings...damnable heresies to be exact. The Bible plainly teaches that salvation is obtained through Jesus Christ alone! It is Jesus' blood that washes our sins away, NOTHING else. Vatican II ADDS religious "works" to faith in Christ, thereby making Catholicism a false religion.

VATICAN II
DOGMATIC CONSTITUTION OF THE CHURCH
LUMEN GENTIUM
Proclaimed By His Holiness Pope Paul VI on November 21, 1964
From Chapter Two: The People Of God
Vatican II
"By convening the Ecumenical Council called Vatican II, the Pope set in motion
ideas and forces that will affect world's ever-expanding population--Jan. 4, 1963" -TIME LIFE
The following quote is taken from Vatican II...
"This holy Council first of all turns its attention to the Catholic faithful. Basing itself on scripture and tradition, it teaches that the Church, a pilgrim now on earth, is necessary for salvation: the one Christ is mediator and the way of salvation; he is present to us in his body which is the Church. He himself explicitly asserted the necessity of faith and baptism (cf. Mk. 16:16; John 3:5), and thereby affirmed at the same time the necessity of the Church which men enter through baptism as through a door. Hence they could not be saved who, knowing that the Catholic Church was founded as necessary by God through Christ, would refuse either to enter it, or to remain in it."
What Blasphemy! I have several things to say in response to the lies and garbage Pope Paul VI said:
1. Pope Paul VI says a person cannot be saved who refuses to enter the Catholic church.
Show me that in the Bible! Show me one verse that says you have to enter (or join) a religious organization to be saved. Jesus said, "him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out" (John 6:37). The Bible says nothing about coming to Christ through anything or anyone. We are taught to come DIRECTLY to Christ. "For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus" (1 Timothy 2:5). Has Pope Paul VI lost his mind? The Bible clearly states that there is only ONE person between us and God the Father--The Lord Jesus Christ. Notice: Pope Paul VI specifically mentioned the "CATHOLIC" church. So if you join a Baptist church, your going to hell. How wicked to attach anything to simple faith in Christ.
2. Pope Paul VI also said that a person could not be saved if he or she refused to remain in the Catholic church.
Again, show me that in the Bible? There is no such teaching in God's Word. Our salvation is based upon faith in Christ alone, not anything else. "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast" (Ephesians 2:8,9). Salvation is a free gift from God, paid for by the precious blood of Jesus Christ. All we have to do is admit our sinfulness and turn to Christ in faith; thus, receiving His free gift of forgiveness for our sins and eternal life. If you never step foot into ANY church, you can go to heaven my friend. The way is through Jesus Christ.
3. Pope Paul VI says that baptism is a door by which we enter into the Catholic church, which he says is essential to salvation.
First, no church is essential for our salvation. Second, no baptism is essential for our salvation. Listen to the words of the Apostle Paul, "For Christ sent me not to baptize, but to preach the gospel..." (1 Corinthians 1:17). If baptism were necessary for salvation, Paul never would have said such a thing. No my friend, baptism is NOT necessary to be saved. The thief on the cross was not baptized. The only DOOR which you should be concerned about is the TRUE DOOR, JESUS CHRIST--"I am the door: by me if any man enter in, he shall be saved, and shall go in and out, and find pasture" (John 10:9). Again, how wicked for Pope Paul VI to teach people that baptism is the door, when in reality Jesus Christ is the ONLY door. The Catholic religion is an arrogant, pompous and stiff-necked religion that boasts itself against God. The Catholic church is a human organization that is far too big for it's own britches. The Pope thinks he's infallible, but he's a big sinner just like you and me. The priests, bishops and cardinals of the Catholic system have lied to billions of people over the centuries, convincing folks that the church is the way to heaven. No, my friend, the church is a sure road to hell-fire and damnation. Salvation is not found in a religion friend, it is found in a person--The Lord Jesus Christ! Religion is the worst thing that has ever happened to this sin-cursed world. Religion binds men and women into spiritual slavery--The blind leading the blind into the depths of the lake of fire. Oh, don't be foolish my friend, turn to Jesus!
In closing, VATICAN II is Satanic all the way around, no matter how you look at it. In the 1960's, the Catholic church decided to repackage it's heresy to make it more appealing to protestants. The result was Vatican II. You can do a web search on "Vatican 2" and read about it yourself if you'd like, but be warned--It is the most boring stuff you'll ever read (a sure cure for insomnia). I could easily write a large book on all that's wrong with Vatican II, but the article I have shared with you pretty much sums it all up--The Catholic church thinks it is God. Vatican 2 is of the devil.
