Please do not answer with "take a course in school" because there are currently none available in my area. I would prefer something that gives the opportunity to hear, read, speak and write the language.

If God wrote the Bible, then it would be the word of God. But we don't have the originals. So how are we to be sure that an atheist didn't get his hands on the original and copy it to a new piece of paper but make up some stuff?

Like what if God really didn't have a problem with homosexual sex, but a homophobic person who didn't like gay people was supposed to copy the Bible for some people in a city over, and he put in all those anti gay verses thinking that might rid the world of gays, but that wasn't Gods intention?

You know what I mean, what if the word of God in the Bible was changed to suit the racist, homophobic, sexist attitudes that people used to have.

as a kid i would go to church w/ my dad and sit in the sunday school, i dont remember anything i ever learned, but when i was about 8 i had a very real dream and i was in the church i and i watched jesus get hung on the cross by 2 giants, and then nailed to it, some people believe their dreams are a sign for something, do you think this was just a dream or some type of sign ?

Does any one think that God is just an imaginary friend, am afraid i am very bitter about all the stuff thats happening to me and the world around me, and i always hear happy christians telling me that i will be saved if i pray, well i did pray but i dont feel any better, if anything i feel isolated and very upset that nothing is improving.

also,how do they explain the things like,black magic,exorcism,witchcraft,psychic abilties.thess supernatural occurences only show that there is a God and there is also the Devil present.ministers use Gods spirit to heal or perform miracles while sorcerers use the spirit from the devil to perform their wonders.
