Life has and always will, in some form exist somewhere in the universe. The humans evolved over millions of years.
Read up on evolution theory or if you are religious look into your chosen religion.
I'm sorry that some people say "God created man and woman. Case closed" etc. If they believe this then that is fine but maybe if people were not so narrow/closed minded the world wouldn't be in the state it is in. After all you did ask us what our beliefs were so they are entitled to their answer.
Even some religious groups take it as red that the world is more than a few thousand years old and that the bible is not a litereral text/instruction manual.

I am of the Christian Faith. I Know that God did it... how He did it is another matter. Even the Bible dose not say. No my fellow Christians, it dose not. It onlysays God breathed...Then 5 days later he made man out of dust. The Bible is not a science book. God did not get specific because that is not what the Bible is intended for.... But that God did.... of that I am certain.
If any honest Seeker wishes to email with a question about the Christian Faith They may. I do not spam, I just dont have the time.
edit note: while I believe that life evolves... there is a lot of scientific evidence for that... I do not believe that man evolved. God's Word is that He created all the other life forms and then placed man , who is made in the way god intended, to be the stewards of all that God provided here on earth.

I believe it happened just like Genesis records it. There is far more support for creation than evolution. I have studied this subject for several years now. I know it can not be explained, but have you really sat down and looked at evolution-its a farce. Its all fake-why I do not know. Why do some evolutionist have to make up stories and manipulate fossils to make them support their theory. Every fossil that has been used as a missing link has been proven as a fraud. That is criminal. If you remove all the speculation from evolution you will have absolutely nothing left. Think about it.

The Hindu scriptures explain that the material universe was created to satisfy the souls desire to try and enjoy life separately from God.
The Hindu scriptures also explain that the soul and material bodies are different, i.e. the soul is an eternal spiritual entity which is neither created nor dies, whereas the material body exists for a time and will be destroyed.
Being an eternal soul seeking enjoyment, it passes from one body to another at the time of death. The bodies acquired are dependent on the souls actions/desires. This is strictly controlled through the law of karma - i.e. action/re-action.
The Hindu scriptures also give you a way out of the material creation when you realise the futility of material existence with all its accompanying distresses.

The first "living" thing were brought together by auias and their philotic bonds. Each time these "creatures" reproduced, some of the new ones had a more powerful aiua, and these began to change. Cells were formed. These became viruses, bacteria, protists, plants, and eventually animals. Humans are the byproduct of billions of years of evolution, brought about by natural selection and philotic forces.

My belief is that we were not created, but we evolved, the evidence is all around us :) (im talking about humans and animals...:)
Edit: and there is no proof for creationism whatsoever, there is one book, the bible, how is that proof, and it has been changed so many times all it is, is a story book.

We're just another species, and like the dinosaurs before us there's a very good chance we'll become extinct through a natural disaster or our own stupidity. Then something else will become the dominant species and make similar mistakes. This will carry on many times until the sun dies and then that's pretty much it for life on Earth.

There is a logical explanation scientific explanation for the evolution of life and consequently man on Earth. What is unexplainable is how,why and when we,as humans, developed the ability to reason whereas the other creatures did not.In other words;what is the missing link?

that humans can not and will never be able to comprehend the vastness of creation. I hope there is a reason for all of this, but I think God just wants us to be. Nothing less, nothing more.
