Wow! That's an interesting question. Well, as people see cockroaches maybe because they are hairy creatures (feet) and came from dirty places. Once you are bitten by it will swell. You wanna try? I'm one of those roach freak;-)!!!!

because they are so ugly looking...like they are gonna eat u or bite u. I hate them the most...they hava alot of them in Fiji. Dont go there if u dont like cockroaches and mosquitos. LOL

I am not afraid of them, they just really gross me out. They are nasty creatures and no matter how you try, you can't get rid of the da** things. I am afraid of snakes and spiders though.

they're dirty, smelly, so people afraid of stepping on them, their shoe/feet will stink. They're also scared if cockroaches *climb* up your body --> damn dirty.

Its not that we're afraid of them, they are just sick and disgusting. Also they are not necessarily harmless since they carry diseases.

they can to harm you, they do bite, they carry diseases, and they have been known to crawl into peoples ears and noses while they sleep
