Yes, it's a joke. That's like asking "Why are there still single-cell organisms, if we evolved from them?" Things evolve, but that doesn't mean that the original DNA is wiped out completely.

I don't believe in evolution but I agree that those that try to use that line of thinking aren't really thinking at all. The statement makes no sense.

Of course, creationists haven't cornered the market on being close-minded or making statements that make no sense. There's plenty to go around.

listen everyon i was born a monkey and now on my 19th birthday i've finally evolved completley into a reall boy (like pinochio)anyway the thing is evolutuin is reall and it's happening in our lives today. whay are we treating it like a thing of the past. By next year i'll be a a fish.

where are all the transitional fossils, i mean besides the few thought to be links , but were actually found to be frauds or animal parts. To say they "discomposed" is just as good as me saying God was here but now he left. They both require lots of faith to believe in
