I love "When the Roll Is Called Up Yonder"...because when it's called I"ll be there. :)

When the trumpet of the Lord shall sound, and time shall be no more,
And the morning breaks, eternal, bright and fair;
When the saved of earth shall gather over on the other shore,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll, is called up yon-der,
When the roll is called up yonder I'll be there.

On that bright and cloudless morning when the dead in Christ shall rise,
And the glory of His resurrection share;
When His chosen ones shall gather to their home beyond the skies,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

Let us labor for the Master from the dawn till setting sun,
Let us talk of all His wondrous love and care;
Then when all of life is over, and our work on earth is done,
And the roll is called up yonder, I'll be there.

I have noticed you cannot ask a christian based question or make a christian comment without insults and profanities being blasted the way of the person asking. I do not see such disdane for other religions, I have seen numerous Muslim based questions and comments and non seem to draw the attention of angry people like christian questions even with the war that is going on and the killing of others by Islam.

People not only disagree with christians, they seem to be outwardly angry. What have we done to you? We have tried to share our belief with you and you tent to respond with insults. Americans say that christians are intollerant, however it is the non believers who lack tollerance.

It seems free speach is for everyone except christians. The way things are going I guess we will be back to a time when christians have to hide their faith or face persecution even death.

The anger has only renewed my faith and belief. If christianity was insignificant why the anger?

I know that Christians pray to God, but does he actively communicate with you in such a way that you understand Him? How?

They always say how GOD is great and how Jesus is perfect. Then they go on and on about how much Humans suck. They love mentioning how the bible says; Human righteousness is like filthy rags, Noone is righteous, and how All have sinned and come short of the glory of god. In so many words, they basically say that everyone is as low as dirt. How we're all stupud (far too stupid to understand GOD), devil worshipping sinners that deserve to die and burn for the rest of Eternity.

This ex slave trader wrote the hymn "Amazing Grace", in which he refers to himself as a wretch. Sure I can see that. A slave trader, yeah, okay. I learned this from a preacher that made snide remarks about a man that didn't want that hymn played at his funeral because of the verse "That saved a wretch like me". That Preacher sucked.

I don't think that a person should lower himself to the level of slime in order to do right by GOD. It isn't healthy. I may not be perfect, but I'm no friggin wretch.

Some people believe that religion was created by rich people so that poor people wouldnt get angry enough to rob rich people of their belongings.

I'm not saying I think all of these are sin, but they are the commonly argued topics in the spotlight. Which do you think is the worst? Which would Jesus fight against most vigorously?

Who are the American Pharisees?
IE (if your not Bible-knowledgeable)- Who are the self-righteous know-it-alls that Jesus would despise and call the 'bad fruits' of society?

To give you a better picture, Pharisees are:
unforgiving
hypocritical
self-righteous
know-it-alls
judgemental

Who, in modern America, best fits this description?
What would Jesus do about them?

when giving you your change, put the change on the counter instead of in your hand? (I've seen this over and over. You give the cashier your money in his or her "hand." Not on the counter but in his or her "hand." The cashier acts as if they're afraid to touch someone's hand? Please! I mean come on for crying out loud! It's not like the money is exactly clean? There's no telling what jackrod did who knows what to that money! You've got all kinds of coke heads using bills as snorting devices, ramming drugs up their noses! That's just one of my peeves. It's called lack of "courtesy." What do you think or don't think?

Apathy towards the belief in religion and anything that relates to a supreme being is considered by some monotonous and boring. Is it because the apathetic individual is stereotyped or is it because the indifference offends you?

Does God 'hate' or 'love'?
Or is that not a sign of imperfection?
Does God hate the sin, love the sinner, or does the sin have a purpose for the betterment of humanity? Do we not need sin to realize what is bad for society?

Is sin God-given or defiantly created by "Satan" in the absence of God?
