-to Promoton- Thats interesting and weird at the same time lol... i dont like the last guy that said it to me, but its been said to me at least 5 times...my boyfriend has said it b4 so maybe thats why ive thought about it a lot

Alexis is a stripper name, no question. More so because so many strippers happen to name themselves after fancy things like high class cars....alexis, mercedes, and maybe someday BMW. Hell, they even call themselves Infinity. Take it from me....sadly.

I'd say because they've gone to too many strip clubs. I went to college with a lovely woman named Alexis. And there was an Alexis on the tv show Dynasty who was not a stripper. Neither was my friend in college, who we called Alex for short.

I don't think I've ever been to a strip club (and I've been to a more than a few) that didn't have an 'Alexis' dancing... also Candy, Monique, Olivia, Carla, and Stephanie are common stripper names. You never ever hear of a stripper named Susan or Karen, they all try to pick exotic sexy sounding names to dance under, so take it as a compliment.

Also, I can tell you like the last guy to say this to you, since you thought about it enough to question it. In fact you've already had sex with him, he just doesn't know it yet.

You know what, when people say that it's a stripper name, go ahead and tell them "Dumb and jerk", because they know what the striper is and maybe they have went to the striper. So, they are the biggest jerk of the world.
The answer is that Alexis does not sounds like stripper name. Just some people are stupid and jerk.

If your very pretty then what they are trying to do is see if you will strip for them, the only Alexis that I have ever herd of is Alexis Arquett and she's a trans gender
