Was baby Jesus’ life threatened in Jerusalem?
(a) Yes, so Joseph fled with him to Egypt and stayed there until Herod died (Matthew 2:13 23)
(b) No. The family fled nowhere. They calmly presented the child at the Jerusalem temple according to the Jewish customs and returned to Galilee (Luke 2:21-40)

I know that I have sinned and am guilty for my sins. But if I am born a sinner because of my kinship to Adam am I not doing that which by birth I have a propensity to do? Justice demands a virdict relative to the agent who committed the crime. If I willed my own birth I could see my guilt but to be placed in a position where I am guilty before acting in such a way to deserve punishment then I want to know why am I found a criminal as if I was no less than a murderer?

Please dont say "neither one" Dont lie and say all real Christians are good because a belief is not an action and dont say atheists are not good because East Germany was mostly atheists before 1990 and they enjoyed a very low crime rate. Also dont say the Christian might become good and the atheist might become bad because that's wishful thinking and not factual. If you pick bad over good, that's proof why so many christians are corrupt

The Dalai Lama is the Buddhist leader who speaks about love for your neighbor and forgiveness. He has been awarded the Nobel Peace Prize for his positive contributions to the world. Here are some of his quotes:
"This is my simple religion. There is no need for temples; no need for complicated philosophy. Our own brain, our own heart is our temple; the philosophy is kindness."
"All major religious traditions carry basically the same message, that is love, compassion and forgiveness ... the important thing is they should be part of our daily lives."
"The very purpose of religion is to control yourself, not to criticise others. Rather, we must criticise ourselves. How much am I doing about my anger? About my attachment, about my hatred, about my pride, my jealousy?"
"If you want others to be happy, practice compassion. If you want to be happy, practice compassion."

He has not asked Jesus to be his Savior. So based on Christianity, God will throw him into the lake of fire right?

.
How much investigation of religion are you comfortable with?

a) Challenge everything you can, its the only way we learn. If part of my faith is proven wrong, then so be it.

b) I'm fine with people questioning things, but "is there a God" is an easy answer...there's no point in asking.

c) Questioning small details is fine, but you shouldn't question God or the bible

d) I'm up for discussion of why I believe what I do for those who are confused, but don't you dare think that anything in the bible could be wrong

e) How dare you ask me that!?!

have you ever heard that if the history of earth was an encylopedia that human life would only be in the second half of the last paragraph of the last book?

so shouldnt we, or some other species, have evolved into the dominant species a long time ago?

Could this possibly hint at some sort of spark? Maybe from God?

Why does it bother you so much what others believe? Now I’m not part of the “leave them alone” and “Stop being mean” crowd. I’m all for any chaos anyone wants to start. However. I believe that there are organizations out there than Christianity threatens and they through back channels breed this hate towards the religion. So I’m just curious. Who prodded you to hate Christians? A news article? A school teacher? Please try and think back and give a real answer.

And why would saying bye bye to godey be such a bad thing? I’ve done it and I feel great because I know the truth and I know I know the truth because I have evidence and theists don’t and that makes me feel all smug inside.
