Psalms 149: 1-9

149:001 Praise ye the LORD. Sing unto the LORD a new song, and his praise in the congregation of saints. 149:002 Let Israel rejoice in him that made him: let the children of Zion be joyful in their King. 149:003 Let them praise his name in the dance: let them sing praises unto him with the timbrel and harp. 149:004 For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation. 149:005 Let the saints be joyful in glory: let them sing aloud upon their beds. 149:006 Let the high praises of God be in their mouth, and a two-edged sword in their hand; 149:007 To execute vengeance upon the heathen, and punishments upon the people; 149:008 To bind their kings with chains, and their nobles with fetters of iron; 149:009 To execute upon them the judgment written: this honour have all his saints. Praise ye the LORD.

I already know that in the Cherokee Creation Legend, animals come from above, from the sky. But what about water animals, how did they get there?

Saying that i'm not interested to some stranger is not a problem, but how do I respectfully decline from giving strangers my name/number etc. at a church. I was recently asked for my number/email to keep in touch with this young guy that i met for bout 5 minutes... I didnt know how to turn him down nicely and there is the chance that I will see him again in the future, so I gave email. What can I say in the future in similar situations to avoid this?

When someone says that they arent looking for a hook up just a friend/stay in touch, how can I still say no nicely and firmly?

Yeah-When we sing Happy Birthday Dear Satan-Happy Birthday Dear Satan-HAPPY BIRTHDAY DEAR LUCIFER-do we let him-(male) blow out the candles or should we? Satan is GODs creation is he not? We are Gods Creation are we not? Is then Satan not our Brother? Is Lucifer to be tormented for wanting to be God? How many times have you wished YOU were God? Is it time to say ok enough is enough-Let God burn in his own hell (he created it-the captain should go down with the ship) or maybe we commit to fighting God until he forgives our brother satan and this whole trial is over with. Actually I believe God created Satan because he was bored playing with himself and wanted to find something to prove he was God to and Satan just happened to be there in his mind and so when he got tired of playing with the dinasoars he moved on. Do you think skeletal remains of dinasoars might have looked demon like and the people that found them thought DEVIL or Dragon and they wrote the bible? I do.

I found several computers that I stripped for parts, plus a few inkjet printers. Recently, a church rummage sale, gave me
a ton of computer stuff they were tossing out, including a monitor, a bunch of cables and an old Radio Shack computer.

I can understand the concept of faith but it's "blind faith" that I have a problem with. Why is it that so many people are willing to let their lives be lead by a book written 2000 years ago by an invisible person especially when so much pain and horro have been done in the name of this almighty diety? How do you explain this faith to someone who does not have it? Please do not pity me or pray for me or any of that nonsense. My life is beautiful without deluding myself but I would like to try and gain a better understanding of your position as understanding opens the door to acceptance, something I feel that those of faith are sorely lacking in.

why is it that throughout american history black people have created the pop culture (music, style, fashion, lingo dance...etc..) in our society and were hated and banned at first for their creativity but when white people finally find out, they exploit it and try to copy and market it?

since the days of elvis (who, by the way stole his singing and dancing styles from poor, old black blues singers who created it and never got paid or respect)...and now elvis is considered the king of rock & roll.

now it's a hip hop world.

back in the 70's when hip hop started, white people were saying "turn off that disco". or that "ni**er" music...just like back in the 50's

now you get little white kids dressing, walking, dancing, and talking like so called "ni**ers.

....and even calling themselves "ni**er"

9 out of 10 times it would be easier and more efficient just to look the answer up yourself in http://www.wikipedia.org/ or somewhere else and be MUCH more confident in getting a quality answer. For opinions you can't get elsewhere, you'll never get a very scientific sampling here for most any question, hell-- you're lucky if you even get a couple serious answers. Half the time, the yit-nit who answers the question is either a smart a$$ kid or sombody who doesn't give a damn about their answer only about getting a couple points. Even as just an venue to chat, this place is pretty much worthless since there's almost no interaction. What's the point?

Lioness in zoo kills man who invoked God Mon Jun 5, 8:31 AM ET
A man shouting that God would keep him safe was mauled to death by a lioness in Kiev zoo after he crept into the animal's enclosure, a zoo official said on Monday.

"The man shouted 'God will save me, if he exists', lowered himself by a rope into the enclosure, took his shoes off and went up to the lions," the official said.

"A lioness went straight for him, knocked him down and severed his carotid artery."

The incident, Sunday evening when the zoo was packed with visitors, was the first of its kind at the attraction. Lions and tigers are kept in an "animal island" protected by thick concrete blocks.

Ok, maybe it's just funny.
