Thank you very much for all your answers. And a little confession: I am an atheist :) I wanted to experiment here. Your answers have shown the different religious views from the fanatics to the extremely tolerant. Thanks again. This info will be in my blog from now on.

The one that helps you sleep at night. No,seriously,it's a simple question with no answer(in this life anyway). But here's a start, seek god not religion. The three monotheistic religions(christianity, judaism and islam)are basically the same, which leads me to believe "god" is the only constant.Religion is organized and controlled thought,be cautious, read the bible, the quaran, the tora, the teachings of budda and read of others like taoism and transcendentalism (and even satanism:which is what goldwing and aleks are talking about, although they wouldn't admit it 'cause they don't use the symbols and specific principles.Of course let's not forget the pagans, druids and wiccans and other neopagan religions which are rooted in some of the oldest theologies.)
On a personal note though;beware, christians(of which i consider myself one)they preach peace love and forgiveness, yet in deeds they condemn and spread hatred and intolerence. They'll preach convenient teachings of christ while completely ignoring his fundamental principals.Remember christ's ministry when he was on earth was set against the church for it's gluttony, hipocracy and intolerance. There are true christians however and you'll know them by the peace and love that surrounds them. They are honest men who realize that as men they do not deserve the love and forgiveness of god but for by the grace of god and his sacrifice.
So,brother, whatever spiritual path you find yourself on let it lead you to peace, love, forgiveness and tolerance.Have a safe journey.

"Nothing is like unto Him." (42:11)

"If there were therein Gods besides Allah, then verily both (the heavens and the earth) would have collapsed into disorder and chaos. Glorified be Allah, the Lord of the Throne, transcendent beyond all they ascribe unto Him." (21:22)

"Sight can never reach Him; His sight reaches all things." (6:103)

"And proclaim: Praise be to Allah, Who has not taken unto Himself a son, and Who has no partner in the Sovereignty, nor has He (need for) any protecting friend through dependence. (17:111)

"Allah! There is no God save Him." (3:2, 2:255)

Well, I guess you don't really know for SURE. It's all about faith. Having faith that God is the One True God. That only He can have the power to do all the miracles in the Bible. Believing that we will be in Paradise(Heaven) with Him when we die, but only if we live our lives for Him. Just like in the movie, "The Polar Express", 'Seeing isn't always believing.'

The bible says, "Draw near unto God and He will draw near unto you." Just as Paul told the people at Ephesus when he saw the monument to the unknown God...I see you are very religious but let me tell you who He is...if you seek Him you shall find Him. The thing about finding Him is believing that He exists and that He will reveal Himself to you. He has probably already spoken to you but you have to learn His language. Logic seems to drown out His voice - He speaks through creation, through dreams, through other people. I hope your heart cry is true that you will not miss out on this tremendous relationship.

You have to review what God says, and then decide if you truly believe it. I personally follow Jesus, not just cause I believe what he says but I know in my heart there is no other. One tip, don't look at the followers as perfect just because of the one they follow-they are human after all.

Well I will have to tell you to follow your heart.
In my opinion there is no wrong religion almost all religions have something in common. It pretty much boils down to what you feel in your heart. There is only one true God in my opinion. I just read my Bible when I get confused. Good luck to you.
