That is becuase, they FINALLY saw the truth, they finally understood that Islam is the correct way to go.

Islam as a concept is fine. The problem is with the Islamic jurisprudence, or Sharia.
Sharia was not taught by Mohammed, or part of the Quran; yet, today, Sharia is the face of Islam seen by everyone, be it in Sudan, Niger, or Afghanistan.
If muslims can do away with the demonic sharia laws, islam would be a religion, at par with the other great and peaceful religion of the world.

Perhaps it's because they were completely blindsided and totally DISILLUSIONED by the falsehoods and lies of their own churches, doctrines and/or elders...
That would be the primary reason I think.
It's also possible that they are in a TRANSITION PHASE of their own personal quest and, in the process, would rather cling on to something familiar and 'not too distant' from their original beliefs.
...Until they later find out that they may have jumped the gun too soon anyway, and later decide to leave Islam just the same. Who knows??

Such men see a means of entering a religion where they gain power as a teacher, apostates who never believed in Christ from day one, but were drawn by money and or power.
In Islam they see the clout the Imam's wield and they crave it. Jesus said he who put his hand to the plow then turns back (turns away) is not fit for the Kingdom of God.

Because they get so involved in Christianity that they can see its' faults & are convinced that it couldn't possibly be the word of God. They know the bible has been changed by Man. And since they are sincerely seeking to find "the truth", they keep searching & searching. Till they find Islam, and need to search no more.

if you bring them the moon down on the earth they wouldn't believe except with a permission from God.
so you only advice them, we can't do nothing to make people understand the truth.
and God explians in the Quran to Muhammad that you are not showing the true path to those you love. but I AM the one who shows the true path to those who surronder to me or to those who i wish.
