It means "Happy Birthday", but I would think it could well be Yiddish.

Glueckliche Geburtstag = correct spelling in German

Lizzy's spelling is off.
It is 'glücklicher Geburtstag' or in a full sentence: Ich wünsche einen glücklichen Geburtstag.
And yes, it is of course 'happy birthday'
